This is a companion App to connect an Acticheck Assure smartband when out & about.
Setup is simple. When the App first starts it will verify your phone number by sending you an SMS message with a code. The App then needs to be paired with the Assure smartband. All settings are saved so this only needs to be done once.
The phone must have Bluetooth, mobile data and location enabled for the App to work. Because of this users may experience a slight increase in battery usage. Mobile data usage is very low being typically less than 0.5M Bytes per week.
The App requires the phone the have sufficient battery charge, mobile data connectivity and a reliable Bluetooth connection. As none of these can be guaranteed, the App must not be used as a failsafe service.
