This app is great, I’m able to use it for my business to be in contact with multiple people via text message using the same number that our business landline uses.Very user-friendly, would recommend it to anyone needing to send out mass messages, reminders, or just communicate via text message with customers.The helpdesk has been very helpful and easy to get a hold of.
App is a bit funky, notifications are problematic

To be fair, I’m not using this for blast marketing. But just using it for interacting with the customers has been a little funky compared to normal texting. Maybe the app needs some revising/help. I seem to get notifications a little late, even though everything is turned on on my settings. The audible notification doesn’t seem to happen. I think this is really more designed for sending out mass texts instead of direct interaction with customers. When I do look at a customer’s text I get the persistent notification problem that I’ve experienced with other apps like Instagram, etc where it doesn’t go away. **Update I just lowered it to two stars from three because it’s so frustrating. If I’m having a conversation with a customer, it doesn’t update to show new messages. I have to literally close the app and reopen to see the new message.

We have used simple texting for years and the bigger we became the worse (and significantly more expensive) the experience was. As a non profit we cannot have expenses like that so we had to choose alternative platforms. Unfortunately, simple texting has been playing games with our phone numbers for a month now — holding them hostage and only pretending to help us port them away. Very disappointed — the more people I talk to say they experienced the same thing with simple texting and trying to leave was a nightmare. Not the smooth experience it should be. DO NOT recommend for non profits.
Simple and Powerful

The SimpleTexting platform is, in fact, simple. It’s also powerful. The app has pretty much identical functionality as the website but makes managing the communications easier on the go for small / mobile teams. The app can be buggy at times with the occasional log-out or crash. But, with the full functionality as the SimpleTexting website, it great.
