About the game:
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. The game is a part of The Legend of Zelda series, and follows amnesiac protagonist Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber to a mysterious voice that guides him to defeat Calamity Ganon before he can destroy the kingdom of Hyrule.
The title's gameplay and mechanics constitute a departure from the series' usual conventions, featuring an open-world environment, a detailed physics engine, high-definition visuals, and voice acting. Announced in 2013, the game was initially planned for release as a Wii U exclusive in 2015, but was delayed twice prior to its release on March 3, 2017. Breath of the Wild was a launch title for the Switch, as well as the final Nintendo-produced game for the Wii U.
Breath of the Wild received universal acclaim from critics, who deemed it to be one of the greatest video games of all time. Critics praised the game's open-ended, physics-driven gameplay that encourages player experimentation and exploration, with many calling it a landmark title in open-world game design, although minor criticism was directed at the game's technical performance at launch.
Breath Companion is a third party App. The developer of this software is not affiliated with Nintendo Co. Ltd. in any way. However, the creation and maintenance is permitted until withdrawal from Nintendo.

Quality and value
I give this app 5 stars because of the depth of detail given to the game in this. There are things in the game I didn’t even know I could have been doing if it were not for this companion app. I believe people’s work is worth a fair wage and the price to unlock all checklist was quite worth it in my opinion. Think of the time the developer put in to the screen shots, into the mapping, into the database development. Then think about the time it saves you searching for something in the game? It’s a no brainer. I would give 6 stars if I could if they would add one additional feature.
I suggest a recipe function where I type in (or snap a photo in the app) my available items for cooking. The database then shows all possible combinations of food and elixirs I could make with what I have. Add some more logic and it could show me that I could make such and such, but find one more of an item and I could make an even better elixir or food item. Lots of possibilities.
It would also be nice to turn off in the app the displays of the games expansion pack purchases. I don’t wanna buy the expansion packs until I finish the original, but the checklist still shows the stuff for the expansions.
Thanks for the hard work and good app!
Must Have for Breath of the Wild Players
I downloaded this app when I realized the breath and scope of the game was going to be something I needed help on. Honestly I used it so often that I wish it had a way to integrate into the game itself.
Having it open while playing made the game more fun for me since it does not automatically give you anything. Just shows you where to go to get something. The journey and travel to that location is up to you and still requires lots of good game play and decisions. Being able to plan out a 2hr timespan in the game makes playing such a massive game possible in small doses. It just been invaluable.
There is a reason it’s number one when looking up anything related to the game. With BotW 2 just announced I hope that these folks can keep up the good work, because I will need your dedication and help again.
Update that just rolled out is acting strange
Can rarely click on a chest to check mark I did it. Same for everything else. I’ve trying single, double, and long press. It randomly working 20% of the times. Please fix and I will rate back to 5 stars. Also when I check (single, double, or long) press the map jumps back and the treasure isn’t visible becauseit’s not zoomed in enough..plz just roll back the previous version that worked just fine. I’ve already spent and plan on spending more money of this gets fixed
Edit: Nevermind it just started magically working again. I think the app need a bit more tweaking. Other than that, 5 starts. - to the person that says they can’t access there in app purchases I haven’t had a problem with that
