This app works well. The alarm clock feature is very useful from me because the radio signal is weak where I live and so a convention alarm clock radio often only plays static rather than the actual program. I use an old phone connected via Wi-Fi, so it is dedicated to be used only for this purpose. But the alarm has to be set every night. It would be much better if the alarm could be set once and go off every morning. I don’t know if that is an IOS limitation or if the app feature could be modified to accomplish that.

It’s great to have. My only complaint is that when driving, I guess switching cells or something, initiates the sponsorship message which plays over the programming so you miss part of it.

I use the app most of the time, except when driving. When I’m traveling, I can always get local news. Only small issue: on the iPhone it cuts out every few minutes for a few seconds, then picks up again. Maybe it’s caused by a problem with our WiFi or the phone… ?

Lots of content, but it definitely emphasizes watching/listening. I get it - watching and listening is what public broadcasting is all about. BUT - interfacing with an app is a visual/reading experience. I would use the app more if the layout and design was more magazine-like so that the reading experience was also enjoyable.
