Originally released by LucasArts in 1995, Full Throttle is a classic graphic adventure game from industry legend Tim Schafer, telling the story of Ben Throttle; butt-kicking leader of biker gang the Polecats, who gets caught up in a tale of Motorcycles, Mayhem and Murder.

Now over 20 years later, Full Throttle is back in a remastered edition that features all new hand-drawn and 3D high-resolution artwork with 4k support, and with remastered audio and music. Blow your speakers with movie-quality sound and a full digital score featuring the GONE JACKALS - an authentic hard-hammerin' biker band!

Players will be able to switch back and forth between classic and remastered modes, and mix-n-match audio and graphics options to their heart’s desire. Also included is a concept art browser with work from Peter Chan, and a commentary track with the game’s original creators.

Awesome Game

The story line and the art work in this game is phenomenal. If you like roll playing games, then you will like this one! The game has a strong story line that keeps you interested and on edge. I really hope they make sequel.

I remember seeing Full Throttle for the first time on my Grandpa’s computer back in 1996. I played it the next couple of years, and despite being only 7-8 years old then, I managed to figure out most of the puzzles on my own. Now that it has been re released with remastered graphics, I downloaded it immediately and began playing. The nostalgia quickly sunk in and it felt great to play a classic complete with music by The Gone Jackals. The sequel “Hell on Wheels” was planned for a while, and looked great back in the day, but upon hearing of it’s cancellation, I was upset. Same goes for the more true sequel “Payback” which was supposed to continue with the same point and click adventure gameplay.
Double Fine Productions, if you are reading this; please make a sequel to Full Throttle. I know it was LucasArts who made the original, but I think it would be incredibly awesome if you could finish what they started and make this game into a franchise. Even if you finished Payback and released it would be exceptionally satisfying. Same goes for Grim Fandango which you also remastered and I bought at the time.
In Conclusion, this game has always been a classic. It was the first point and click adventure game I have ever played and it was a great introduction to the genre for me. I look forward to any other projects you have lined up, especially if it could be a Full Throttle sequel, or even a whole franchise.
