Disclaimer: I have edited this review a ton of times because I find something I like each time I play, so it might sound a little off.This app is amazing! The world is beautiful, the creatures have awesome and unique designs, and unlike most games, it has an actual open world! Plus, the player can go through the story mode, or if that isn’t their thing just free roam. The free roam is great for people like me who enjoy creating stories using the tools the game dev provided. The music adds a cinematic feel to it and can completely change the mood. If you are in the middle of a storm, select the dramatic song and you feel like you are in a life or death situation! I hope this doesn’t sound like a fake review, I genuinely love this game! The craziest thing? It was made by one person! And as a bonus, he actually cares about and enjoys what he does! I saw a response to a different review that he make these games because he enjoys bringing worlds to life, and that gives me a whole new appreciation for this game. I hope you are able to keep making these, they are my favorite apps. You have done a fantastic job and I look forward to the next game.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Quick update: I just saw a video that featured this game. It’s in “Top 15 High Graphics Offline Games For Android/IOS 2019” by VinIsHere. It shows up from 4:43-5:32. Just figured I’d share that with you🙂

😄 this is awesome - thank you so much. It’s why I make games and specifically open worlds. I like exploring nature and using my imagination And I want others to have a place you can do the same. NimiAn Legends feels like it’s a real place to me in some ways and I am always trying to learn better ways to bring it to life. Right now I’m working on a new world that’s a lot larger and I hope to bring you an even more massive natural world to explore soon. Vandgels and BrightRidge are two places that have been in my head since I was a kid and it’s a lot of fun to finally see these characters in an actual game. Your spirited feedback and five star review also really support me. As you said I’m one person so I also am boosted when people say kind things and it means a lot to me that the experience meant something positive to you:) I will keep it up!

This is the first time I’ve written a review for a game in a few years. I’ve really grown to love exploration games, and Robert has created something really special with this one. Like so many of the other reviews say, it is an absolutely beautiful game. The graphics and music complement each other so well. I will definitely be recommending this to my friends. I found the controls suited me pretty well. And I was able to tweak them to my liking with all the options for customization given in the game settings. I also really appreciate the freedom to experience the game in whatever way suits my mood at the time. Having the option to play through a story mode, the dungeon mode, or simply relaxing and looking at all the amazing things to discover is a great feature for this genre. It’s not just a fun game to play, it’s a rewarding experience. My thanks to the designer for putting real heart into a game. Keep it up! You definitely made a fan out of me!

Horrible controls

I am at a loss on the great reviews for this game. Perhaps it does not work correctly with the newest ipads? I am using an ipad pro with 256gb of storage, over half of which is free and I had no other programs open. My experience with this and the prior Nimean game is that the controls are utterly horrible. Camera swings about wildly when you try and move your character and constantly works in too close. Changing control and view settings did not help. Game does not seem to be designed for a touch screen and there is no onscreen joypad appearing even when I select that option. Simply agonizing to try and make the character do anything. Also, no audio speech, just a compressed squealy babble when characters talk - text does appear at the bottom of the screen but I tend to miss it - just weird as speech bubbles do appear most of the time when characters talk - however there are no words in the bubbles. Also difficult to tell who is speaking and who they are speaking to due to camera jumping around and getting too close in. There may be a great experience here, but I’ll never know it. Life is too short. There are lots of great games out there that work properly - better to play one of those than struggle with this. Oh well.

This game is so amazing! I just downloaded and haven’t played much, but I couldn’t wait to rate it. The setting, landscape, music, and story are all amazing, though I haven’t finished yet. I love the option of dungeonette and explorateur mode, and the fact that you can customize every thing about the world. I especially love the filters! It was more expensive than most games I downloaded but it was worth every cent and more, I’m surprised it was only 4 dollars. This game deserves to win awards and it’s honestly unbelievable that a single person did this. It’s better than most of the games I’ve played, made by a whole big group of people. Keep up the good work! This game is amazing!P.S.: I had to come back because i didn’t realize the sheer depth of this world, the preview doesn’t do it justice. Did you know you can read the books in the library for information about the world?
