We have been to OldFarm many times and participated n the tour the Park Service gives several times. This app added so much to our visit this year! It worked without any problems. Presented wonderful information. And the historic photos were exceptionally clear. Excellent job!! Now u just need to promote it more! A small sticker on the entrance sign is not enough. Perhaps put a sticker on each marker so that people who wander through and skip the entrance sign will know an app is available when they stumble across one of the wooden markers. Too much work went into this app for it not to b widely used!

It was a surprise to see this and the markers this year. Thank you for such a wonderful job. George Dorr is a very special person. I wish they kept the house for all to see. He was Mr. Acadia.

Good start for this app. Well placed signs, easy to follow gps + info. Some is repetitive, so could have better curated content overall, and for some reason, the volume wouldn’t work with my iPad. Lovely spot, and a real shame they couldn’t preserve the house!

I walk my dog all the time on the land and was wondering what all the new markers were. To bad the Park raised the house!

When the application was developed in 2008 there was no wireless internet coverage at the Oldfarm site and trails. Oldfarm version 1 had all of the video files wrapped into the application making it a large download from the App Store. Now there is very good coverage at Oldfarm offered by several carriers and so this version downloads video assets as needed.
