Step into the grandeur and chaos of the colonial age with War of Colony—a strategy war game that blends base-building, army command, and global conquest into an immersive epic. Whether you’re a seasoned strategist or new to the genre, this game invites you to rewrite history as you rise from a humble soldier to the ruler of a worldwide empire.
Forge Your Colonial Legacy
In an era defined by exploration, conflict, and ambition, War of Colony puts you at the center of the action. Your goal? Build an unbreakable base, train a fearsome army, and outmaneuver rivals—both AI and real players—to claim every treasure, territory, and victory the colonial world has to offer. No two campaigns are the same: adapt your tactics, exploit unique unit strengths, and turn every battle into a step toward global domination.
Core Gameplay: Strategy That Rewards Wit
1. Build & Fortify Your Base
A strong base is your first line of defense—and your launching pad for conquest.
Construct and upgrade key structures: From impenetrable forts that repel enemy raids to barracks that train elite troops, every building shapes your power.
Refine your resource chain: Manage supplies to arm your army with the era’s deadliest weapons, from muskets to artillery.
Advance your tech: Unlock colonial-era innovations to boost defense, speed up production, and turn the tide of war.
2. Command a One-of-a-Kind Army
Every soldier and general in War of Colony brings unique skills—master them to crush foes with minimal losses.
Recruit specialized units: From sharpshooters who pick off enemies from afar to cavalry that charges through lines, build an army tailored to your playstyle.
Leverage general abilities: Each general has exclusive powers (e.g., area-wide buffs, surprise ambushes) that can turn a losing fight into a rout.
Strategize, don’t just attack: Study enemy weaknesses, flank defenses, and use terrain to your advantage—brilliance beats brute force.
3. Battle Across Multiple Modes
The colonial age is a time of constant war—War of Colony delivers every type of conflict you crave:
PVE Campaigns: Fight through story-driven missions that immerse you in colonial conflicts, from skirmishes with local factions to large-scale sieges.
PVP Duels (1v1): Test your skills against real players in head-to-head battles—prove you’re the sharpest strategist.
World War: Join forces with allies for massive, server-wide wars. Coordinate attacks, defend shared territories, and compete for global supremacy.
4. Unite in Alliances
Conquest isn’t a solo journey. Join or create an alliance to:
Speed up development: Share resources and blueprints with allies to grow faster.
Strengthen teamwork: Plan coordinated raids, defend each other’s bases, and dominate rival alliances.
Fight for glory: Compete in alliance-only events for exclusive rewards and the title of colonial overlords.
Stunning Colonial-Era Visuals
War of Colony brings the colonial world to life with breathtaking detail:
Explore lush jungles, arid deserts, and bustling colonial outposts—each location has unique terrain that impacts battles.
Witness dynamic combat effects: From musket fire lighting up the battlefield to artillery blasts shaking the ground, every fight feels epic.

The simulated battles do not figure tactical choices whatsoever, and merely slightly randomise the strength of strikes, accuracy, crit, etc and it is Rare that even a slightly pitched battle is won by the underdog. The game is populated by players with powers in the thousands, millions, and billions. It is almost only by virtue of the ability of a player to be accepted into an Alliance that one can grow in power, survive attacks, and gain ground. Earning sucessively higher VIP status earns more benefits and is possible without spending, but it is almost interminably slow. Be prepared to spend a few bucks at first, then a bit more. The best servers have NAP's- Non Agression Protocols in which they alternately have peace and mayhem on a weekly cycle. Ugh, I cant stay away from this game. You can have both a quick login character and a registered character, and also log into different servers. The arguments and discussions in the various chats are fun, and it will optionally translate comments from players with different languages into yours.
Not worth the time

The ads and descriptions are misleading. It implies the option to choose between countries, but there is no feature anywhere in the game. The only near this is a single player campaign that pits your troops against AI’s, based off a few Napoleonic-era wars (in my opinion, this is the only redeeming quality of the game and the reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1). The main focus of the game is on multiplayer. There is a system of merits where attacking and killing other players’ troops gives you a reward, which convinces the strong players to constantly attack weaker players for the sole reason of defending their city. This leads to an inability of new players to grow effectively, as the safest option becomes to leave your base undefended, meaning other players can easily attack and take large amounts of resources. You could try to ignore these attacks, but this becomes extremely hard.As a result, the only real way to grow is to pay for gems to quickly amass strong troops, and in essence this game is basically designed to get your money. It uses the usual mobile app tactics to get users subconsciously hooked on the game through the use of energy points needed to take any actions. Furthermore, the game is broken up into servers. They add more servers every so often, but constantly merge servers to no end. It becomes even more hard to play the game when out of nowhere, the server’s alliance power balance is thrown off because your server gets merged with an older one for no reason. You shouldn’t waste your time, money, and energy on this game.
Fun but it's a lie

I loved playing the game, but I have a problem with the fact that all that this company does for this game is lie about what the game is. I've noticed so many fake advertisements where they steal youtubers footage of them playing a completely different game or even in the App Store where they say you get to choose your starting country which is a total lie. This game is deceiving and honestly should be taken down from the App Store because of it. Not to mention I've noticed that the developers really don't care about the game or those who play it. They don't make an attempt to fix all the flaws in the game and instead just care about the money they get from everyone plays and buys in app purchases which is the only way to rise to the top of the game. Not to mention when they show you the troops for the picture of the game and what country the belong to it has nothing to do with which troops you have. Those are all just different tiers of troops you can unlock as you upgrade your base and they try making it seem like it matters what country you choose even though you can't to begin with.
Warring!!!!!!!!!!!
Fackts
This goes both to the people who are interested in this game and the developers. You have a serious problem when in your trailer you are promoting a game with a massive world in which you can control your units freely when what you provide is your regular pay to win game that in the end isn't fun. (Do I have to mention that No Mans Sky did the exact same thing and look at the backlash)Now your SERIOUS PROBLEM is that you are doing some serious copyright infringement by in your trailer you are show content and gameplay of another game without giving them any credit (this game being Empire Total War) now I would never even risk this with such a large gaming company like Total War with so much resources and people behind them far more than what you have without having written consent from them, if not you risk a serious trial in which you would lose.In addition there are a million other games just like this and some are actually fun.In short not fun, false advertisement, and several serious problems that need to be dealt with immediately.
