Rebuilt from the ground up for iPhone and iPad. Shortlists, private notes, search that works offline and whole boards to take with you. Still no ads.
Pinx shows your Pinterest boards and nothing else. No ads, no promoted pins, no shopping, no feed of suggestions. Just the pins you saved, in a fast, calm app built for iPhone and iPad.
Sign in with your Pinterest account and your boards are there. Pinx only reads from Pinterest: it never posts, saves, moves or deletes anything on your account.
YOUR BOARDS, WITHOUT THE REST
• Every board you've made, as a grid or list, sorted your way
• Board sections, and filters for pins you created or saved
• A full-screen viewer with pinch and double-tap zoom
• Light, dark or automatic appearance
SHORTLISTS
Pull pins from any board into a shortlist: a room, a trip, a client, this week's dinners. Shortlists live in Pinx and never create boards on Pinterest.
PRIVATE NOTES AND TAGS
Add a note or tags to any pin, like "ask the fitter about this green" or #phase-2. They stay on your iPhone and are never sent to Pinterest.
SEARCH EVERYTHING, EVEN OFFLINE
Search titles, descriptions, board names, notes and tags. The index lives on your device, so it's instant and works in airplane mode.
DOWNLOAD BOARDS FOR OFFLINE
Download boards before a flight, a venue visit or a trip to the allotment. Pause and resume, stick to Wi-Fi, and see how much space each board uses.
SAVE AND EXPORT
Save pins to Photos, or export a whole board as a .zip with every image, a browsable page and a spreadsheet of titles, links, notes and tags.
SHARE A CLEAN WEB LINK
Send chosen pins as a simple web page with no ads, no Pinx branding and no Pinterest username. Add captions, edit it later, or take it down whenever you like.
SIRI, SPOTLIGHT AND SHORTCUTS
"Show my Kitchen board in Pinx." Find boards and shortlists in Spotlight, build Shortcuts, and long-press the app icon to jump back to your last board.
FREE, OR PRO FOR A ONE-TIME PRICE
Pinx is free for 25 boards you choose, with up to 50 pins on each, and every feature. Pinx Pro opens every board and every pin and downloads whole boards for offline. It's a single purchase with future updates included. No subscription, ever. Already bought Pro? It carries over.
GOOD TO KNOW
Pinx works with the boards on your own Pinterest account. Pinterest doesn't make pin videos available to other apps, so video pins open in Pinterest. Pinx is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pinterest, Inc. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc.

I just now got the app because i love browsing pinterest, but the ads have gotten to the point where i can’t even do that anymore without everything i see being an ad. And while i do like this app, i do wish it had the home feed. i understand that’s probably difficult to do, and im not sure if its being worked on, but i do hope for a version with a home feed
Artists favorite phone app
Ekpap_
I work as an artist, and use Pinterest quite a lot for reference. But the ads on Pinterest have got to the point where it’s difficult to use. (Also Pinterest in general has become bloated with features.)Both the simplicity and the lack of ads in this app make it such a joy to use. It’s become one of my favorite iOS apps for art. Thank you developers!
Great update improved everything
Rochel_Melonyl
The latest version is noticeably smoother than when I first downloaded. Good to see active development on what could easily have been a forgotten app.
Decent replacement
MostlyMystery
I updated pinterest on my ipad and it completely stopped working so this is a good replacement, but I wish i could see my home feed and not just my saved boards, and also the free version only lets me see 25 of my boards but i just wish it would let me choose which ones…i can’t access one of the important ones
Developer Response
Great feedback, leave this with me and i’ll see what i can do in the next build.
Pinx has been rebuilt from scratch as a native app for iPhone and iPad. It's faster, and it does a lot more:
• Shortlists: collect pins from any board
• Private notes and tags on any pin
• Search everything you've saved, even offline
• Download whole boards to use without a connection
• Save pins to Photos, or export a board as a .zip
• Share chosen pins as a clean web link
• Siri, Spotlight, Shortcuts and quick actions
• Light, dark or automatic appearance
If you were signed in before, you stay signed in, and Pinx Pro carries over automatically.
