The BMW Art Car #18 by Cao Fei adopts a mode of expression completely different from previous ones: The theme of this century is that we enter ‘a landscape of no man’s land’, e.g. autonomous cars and aircrafts. Her interpretation of the project transcends the current context of ‘cars’ and embraces new possible ways of immersion, such as the convergence of virtual worlds and reality.
