Our Reservation Service automatically hails a Taxi for you on the date and time you specify. Reservations can be made from 15 minutes to 7 days in advance.
A service charge will apply in addition to the Taxi fare at the time of payment.

・Airport Flat-rate
Get flat-rate fares from a location you specify, such as your home, hotel, a train station or travel destination to select airports. With GO there is no need to make reservations in advance: you can take advantage of this flat-rate even if you want to hail a Taxi right away.
Currently available for: boarding from Tokyo - Haneda/ Narita Airport (Tokyo - Narita is only transfer to the airport).
・Pay your fare cashlessly with GO Pay while you ride

・Advance Destination Setting
With this feature, you can hail a Taxi and set your destination ahead of time. This eliminates having to explain your destination to the driver, so there is no need to worry if you cannot communicate in Japanese.
・Confirmation Number
Give this number to the driver when your Taxi arrives, then get in. You no longer have to worry about finding your Taxi and being sure you are getting in the right one.
・Tipping Feature
Show your appreciation to your driver by giving them a tip. You can give tips at the end of the ride from the rating screen or from "Usage History / Receipt" in the GO app's menu.

- Estimated arrival time is based on current conditions and these may change depending on traffic and other factors.
- Please note that the car request may be cancelled after it has been accepted due to traffic or other reasons.
- Location and push notification permission must be turned on when using this service.
Used the Go app throughout the Mount Fuji area (kawaguchiko). Sleek and easy design. You can use your foreign credit card too! Only 2 areas of improvement are seeing the route while you ride (it only shows your location) and having more drivers available. Sometimes no drivers are working in the area and you can’t get a ride. Still better than Uber which doesn’t operate in some non-urban areas. If Go is a local company, would be nice to support them and their drivers too.

BEWARE - if you’re overcharged GO Will do nothing

If you are wrongly charged you will not get your money back! I was overcharged 2,240 Yen because my driver took the wrong route and drove an extra 4km to get me to my destination. I’ve been trying to get GO to refund me this difference via email, because the app simply doesn’t allow you to dispute fares. I shared all relevant evidence, but GO simply refuses to review the GPS data to validate that the driver did indeed drive extra distance that was unwarranted. They tell me that this is just how their ride share fare works.When the app works it’s great. When you get into dispute territory, you’re out of luck. Better just use Uber since they won’t scam you out of your money when it’s the driver’s mistake.

Taxi Go was a godsend for my wife and myself. We used it frequently in Kyoto, where taxis are everywhere! Super easy to use app and it worked with my Apple Credit Card which I liked (No foreign transaction fees). Getting from one temple/shrine to another can get tiring real quick in Kyoto. Taking a taxi makes things much less physically demanding and allows you to enjoy more of your day. We found the cost to be more than reasonable. Would recommend to ANYONE visiting Kyoto let alone Japan. Thank you!

Estimated arrival time always wrong

Always need to double or triple the estimated arrival time to get an accurate prediction. Currently been waiting 10 min for a predicted 3 min arrival and the driver is still a far away… this kind of thing happens almost every time. This makes it hard to get to appointments on time.On top of which they charge a 400 service fee, a 200 yen international users’ fee and then ask you to tip the driver at least another 200 yen. So even on a 1000 yen ride you end up paying an extra 800 yen. Also defaults to selecting a large van, even though this is more expensive and usually has an even longer predicted wait time, so you have to be careful to choose taxi each time.

About the default selection of a large wagon car, please note that GO’s system carries over your previous choice.
