I may update this review if I can get a response from app support, but so far it’s going on a week since I emailed them and I’ve received nothing. I am wasting my money having the app only on my phone because my grandchild likes to play the app from my phone but only has access to my phone once per week at most. That’s not helpful to either of us. I thought I would be able to download the app to a second device (child’s new tablet) but can’t. I emailed support last Tuesday but haven’t heard anything back. I cancelled my subscription today for that reason.

Hello,We do not have a message waiting for reply, as we cannot see your user information or email we cannot tell the exact time for our reply. To access your Buddy subscription across multiple devices, you'll need to create an in app account (Buddy account) by visiting the "Settings" page on the device where your subscription is active. Once completed, you can sign into the Buddy app from any compatible device and your child's progress will transfer automatically.Please go to your own device, Settings pannel in the app and tap on "my account", choose the mail icon (not Google/Apple icon) and create a in app account by typing your email and create a password. Then on second device tap on any locked expedition and tap "Already subscribed" and use the email you wrote and the password that you have created.

I wrote a review a day or two ago and accidentally deleted it when I went to edit with an update.My original review said that the app itself is great and my son loves it. However if you ever run into an issue, such as getting logged out on one device, it is infuriating to deal with their support team. I have been trying to get my issue fixed for 3 days now. They will respond and give me an answer that does not work or isn’t what I’m asking and then just ghost me. No one has ever apologized for the horrible service they provide. I did get a response on my original review and they told me that they had no record of any conversation with me. I have asked for a phone number and they refused to give me one. I sent another response email today asking for contact information for a manager or someone at the company with some authority. I am not usually one to write reviews let alone bad ones but this is absolutely unacceptable customer service and I am disgusted that this seems to be their norm. If you get this app I’m sure your kids will love it but if you ever need help with an app issue you’ll be sorry you ever download it.

I bought this app for my kid, She’s only 7 years old and she’s about to start third grade soon. I wanted her to focus on her learning more, So I decided to download a app to help her learn before she goes to third grade. But then I downloaded this app. For a second I thought it was a useless game that wouldn’t make my kids learn anything but then a few minutes later… She came up to me and said that this app helping her learn. It also helped her understand and chat more. Whoever made this game, I’m so sorry for misunderstanding you and Thank you for helping my kids. :)

This is a good app. We tried Duolingo before and it was okay but not very fun. We had to make our son do it. With Buddy, he wants to do it. When he gets up early, my wife lets him use the iPad and play in his room. More learning for him and sleep for us! It’s been two months now and he’s still using it. Sometimes we do it with him and then ask questions after to see if he remembers the words. He usually does. That’s the main reason we are happy.
