Air quality is free. • Fire-weather warnings from the US National Weather Service now appear alongside Portugal's IPMA warnings. • Choose your units — hectares/km/h/°C or acres/mph/°F, or let the app follow your device. • Resource counts are honest: when a fire service doesn't publish vehicle or aircraft numbers, we no longer show you a zero as if it were a measurement. • Full English throughout — 195 strings that had quietly stayed in Portuguese are now translated. • Ready for iOS 26: the list's filters, the activity badge and the Now screen were rebuilt for the new Liquid Glass look. • Three map layers retired (temperature, heat, aircraft) — they added clutter without answering a question. Aircraft information stays on the fire detail. • Settings now links to a full list of our data sources, country by country.

Eight new countries and a cleaner map: • Canada, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Brazil, Australia and New Zealand join Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and the United States. • The map now groups fires when you're zoomed out — fewer overlapping dots, and a tap on a group zooms in. • "Now": a new country switch, so you can follow the live situation in any covered country, with the data source always stated. • Daily bulletin: pick which country's edition you receive, or leave it automatic.
