Welcome to Version 2.0.1 This update allows youth tennis players to keep a digital journal of their tennis journey. Everything from tennis goals, to self-evaluation of practice and match performance can all be tracked in-app, reinforcing the positive habit of focusing on what they did well and what they want to improve upon.

Welcome to Version 2.0! Take the tennis lessons off court and into your hands, with the new version of the Net Generation app. This new update allows youth tennis players and their parents to digitally connect with tennis coaches. Players can hone their on-court skills with extra credit activities and tennis skill challenges. The app allows players to keep a digital journal of their tennis journey. Everything from tennis goals, to self-evaluation of practice and match performance can all be tracked in-app, reinforcing the positive habit of focusing on what they did well. When practice is over, players can continue to learn when they receive constructive feedback, from their coach right in their app inbox, outlining what they did well that session, and what they can continue to improve upon.  They will also get motivated when their coach rewards them with a virtual badge when they have mastered a skill. Unsure of what ball color your child should be playing? Welcome to Version 1.3 We have made a number of improvements to the Net Generation Mobile App. Videos for skills can now be accessed directly from lesson plans and practice and play plans. Our certified coaches aren't the only ones that can build custom lesson plans. All Safe Play Approved providers are able to build custom lesson plans with the amazing community curriculum in our new Tools tab. Wish you could share your custom lesson plans? Wait no more! The Community, Red and Orange Curriculum encompass three levels of Practice and Play Plans. It is “Learn to Play” focused, designed to engage more players in the game of tennis. The program uses modified equipment to promote early success, with a focus on challenge, skills, and play. The School Curriculum includes Practice and Play Plans for grades Kindergarten through 6. Across all grades, it truly recognizes the important role that physical education plays in introducing students to the game of tennis in their school. Through the collaborative effort between SHAPE America and the USTA, the Net Generation schools tennis program represents a standards-based comprehensive curriculum that all teachers can easily implement. Curriculum Access USPTA and PTR Certified Coaches can access all three curricula. Non-Certified Coaches can access the Community and Schools Curriculum.
