Great improvements. Small backslide.
Aftershok
I LOVE this app, and it’s always served my needs. The new version is slick and clean. I’m very happy with the interface changes and the renewed focus on power hidden by simplicity. Two things are a bit disappointing in the new version: images are not as crisp as they should be and appear slightly fuzzier compared to other applications. Also, while you can now define all your own keyboard shortcuts, I do miss the simplicity of using modifier keys alone to control certain display options. That said, I’m sure I can define and remember a few new keyboard shortcuts.

Great app but one thing annoys me
Jstep218
I had been looking for an app that worked similarly to one I use on my Windows machine and this one came the closest to what I’m looking for. It’s near excellent for the price but one major annoyance I have is the time it takes to delete something. From the time I press the delete button, there is a bout a 3 - 4 second delay before the file is deleted. It might not seem like much but when you’re culling a vast quantity of files, it adds up. Hopefully this will get fixed in a future release.
Improving but still some issues (updated review)
Mipsalawishus
This app continues to improve by the developer and he appears to be in tune with feedback. Glad to see that! It would be great to see some polish put on the slideshow experience. Currently there doesn’t appear to be a true fullscreen function. What I get is a maximized app window, but not fullscreen. I might be missing something but if not this would be a great feature for a future release. Thanks again!
Developer Response
Thanks for your feedback!Great to hear you like the UI and performance improvements. Since version 6.1, the slideshow can also include subfolders, and we’re always looking at ways to improve image detail. Thanks for using the app!
Would love to see QuickLook integration

I’ve been using this app for years and I really appreciate the active development. The latest release feels like the best so far. I would love to see QuickLook integration, if at all possible. Also, there’s a powerful third-party library called OpenImagelO that might be worth exploring. I too noticed a slight degradation in image quality; but for me, it’s a small price to pay for a very swift and sleek UX. Thank you!
