So thankful for this

Only issue I’ve had is if I’m trying to convert over 25 or so video files at once, app may crash, but I just take my time. It has never corrupted any of my files, nor could I see how it would as it creates temporary files. Mather of fact you control the settings so you decide if it makes new file or delete old file when doing video conversions. I chose to delete or replace old file, that just means the old file is place preserved into the trash can.
WARNING: Frequent crashes and data corruption are possible. Approach this app with caution.

I have been a user of iFlicks for years. It has been my go-to app for managing metadata in my large video collection. It can do — or used to be able to do — things that other apps simply could not handle.Unfortunately, iFlicks 3 has MAJOR stability issues and crashes frequently. I find that it’s taking longer to do basic tasks that it did before I updated to iFlicks 3 because of these crashes. It’s frustrating to be sure. The cardinal sin, however, is that on at least two occasions I found that my videos were corrupted because of these crashes. I could tolerate some inconvenience. I cannot tolerate corruption. To the developers: I routinely crash while updating metadata for multiple videos. If you correct the issue, I’d love to come back. Until then, I have to find another solution. I would advise anyone considering iFlicks to approach with caution, and make sure you have backups of any file you try to edit.
Intentionally broke iFlicks 2

I just paid $35 to tell the truth and let others know they aren’t crazy.Like others customers… I am a long time customer. I own 1, 2, and 3.Like others customers… I agree this *used* to be a great program.iFlicks 1 worked fine. I was happy with it. 2 came out and I bought it just to support the developer, but it didn’t do anything that iFlicks 1 didn’t do for me. Then I get a message a few days back alerting me to the release of iFlicks 3... and then SUDDENLY iFlicks 2 stopped working. That seemed strange so I go back and download iFlicks 1 from the app store. iFlicks 1 actually works but it now has a forced subscription (which it did not when I bought it).In another comment a customer mentioned that this was also his experience. He also mentioned he checked his findings in multiple versions. He also stated that it was his theory that the Developer keeps breaking his product on purpose to make more money. Well I’ll be honest, that’s what I’m seeing right now, too. I would hate to think it to be true, but why is it his customers have the wherewithall to test all 3 iFlicks versions for inconsistancies but he cannot?I’m planning on contacting Apple directly about this and I suggest others do the same. This review should stand as a warning to any future customers until then. If the Developer is truly innocent I feel a simple response saying, “Thanks for letting me know. I'll look into it and get back to you on this” would have been far more appropriate than blaming a 3rd party and talking down to his customers.
Developer Response
I can just repeat what I have said multiple times before. I would NEVER intentionally break a version. Once TheTVDB restores full service of the old v1 API, iFlicks 2 will start working again.
Fantastic..... Until v.3.2/Catalina
slumptin
This app has been PERFECT for the last 5 years, at least. Everything JUST WORKED. I've used the "iTunes Compatible" presets to convert 1080p and 4k movies flawlessly until iFlicks 3.2 (and/or Catalina?) was released. Now, 1080p movies convert fine using the now-"Apple TV compatible" settings, but 4k movies end up looking like something you'd see from the Predator's viewpoint, but in mostly pink. No settings adjustments seem to work. And it is NOT the source file, as those play fine when I play them straight on non-Apple devices. PLEASE FIX ASAP.

iFlicks 3.8 is the forth major update to iFlicks 3
This is another huge update with many things changing behind the scenes, including:
• Native support for Apple Silicon (M1)
