Updated to the 2024 AAP therapeutic hypothermia clinical report: gestational age >= 36 weeks, initiation within 6 hours of birth, evidence of peripartum hypoxia-ischemia and moderate-to-severe encephalopathy, an optional aEEG background input, and clearer results with an override and senior-physician guidance for discrepancies.
