Great game but some suggestions
I've been playing Zen Koi 2 for a couple of years and I have greatly enjoyed it so far. It is a relaxing breeding and collecting game that runs very smoothly without constant ads. Ads are completely optional and it does not beg you to write a review. The new update also lets you add friends without using Facebook which I really appreciate. It is completely free to play, pearls take time to collect but aren't impossible to earn.
However new content is pretty rare and events are few and far between. I'd love to see new events; like maybe an event that has special event prey that appears in the pond. Catching event prey earns points and you win prizes at certain point milestones. This would be a great way to introduce new koi patterns and pond decor.
Dragon points also have little value other than for competition with friends. It would be cool if we could unlock skills for reaching dragon point milestones. Skills could be things like making mates appear more often, decreasing egg hatch times, increasing boost times, and even maybe adding an additional egg slot or 2.
Some new rare prey would also be cool. Like maybe a special prey that when caught instantly summons a mate to the pond or one that instantly gives your koi a skill point to spend.
Suggestions aside, this game is totally worth the download if you like breeding and collecting games.
Wonderful and Very Relaxing!
As a player of the original Zen Koi, I can say that this is so much better and the improvement is pretty clear to see.
One of the first things I noticed was that the art in general was smoother and prettier. Another thing is that the first koi's number of stages before ascension is short, so you get your first dragon and get to experience dragon mode quicker. When looking at the dragons you ascended they move a little NOW and aren't static like in the last game. I can't forget that there is new prey and oh my goodness, they are beautiful! I almost didn't want to eat them. Overall it is wonderful and kept the same relaxing and beautiful charm of the first game. I would recommend this to anyone willing to kill some time or enjoys breeding games.
I originally was playing zen koi 1 and was obsessed with it and then they came out with zen koi 2 and I fell in Love! Especially with the playable dragons! I’m so addicted to this game I even got some family and friends to start playing it with me. I find it really easy to get pearls and I love all the patterns. I do wish you’d add new and different prey to eat though, That’s really the only new thing I’d love even more. I can’t get enough of this game. It’s really a great step up from the first one. I love that the new update has the mates on it instead of needing to click the egg!!! It’s a great add in! I really hope you can make it so the prey change or add more prey.
I also think it would be cool if some fish could ascend faster than others sometimes? Like maybe some only need to expand the pond three times, or four instead of 8 all the time! I think that would be super cool!!
Also maybe if the dragon had to make a certain pattern instead of just making some crazy one on your own, like being lead to the stars you have to do first and creating different patterns the actually look good and cool!
