Join thousands of golfers, rated 4.6 stars. Calculate your WHS 2024 Handicap Index, Course Handicap & Score Differential for 9- and 18-hole rounds. Free, no account.
Handicap Tracker is the simple way to calculate and track your golf handicap with the World Handicap System (WHS). Add the courses you play, post your scores, and watch your Handicap Index update — no membership, no account, no sign-up.
CALCULATE YOUR HANDICAP INDEX
Post a round and Handicap Tracker computes your Handicap Index using the World Handicap System (WHS) 2024 method — the framework used by golf's governing bodies. Your index updates automatically every time you add a round.
A COURSE HANDICAP FOR ANY COURSE
Add any course you play with its course rating, slope rating, and par. Handicap Tracker gives you a Course Handicap for each one, shown as a whole number, so you know your strokes before you tee off.
SEE EVERY ROUND'S SCORE DIFFERENTIAL
Each round shows its own Score Differential, so you can see exactly how every round factors into your index.
18- AND 9-HOLE ROUNDS
Post full 18-hole rounds or 9-hole rounds. Nine-hole rounds are combined into 18-hole equivalents using the official expected-score method, so they count the right way toward your index.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS
Watch your Handicap Index trend over time with charts and stats, and spot whether your game is heading in the right direction.
SYNCS ACROSS YOUR DEVICES
Your courses and rounds sync automatically over iCloud, so your full history is on every device you sign in to.
DESIGNED FOR iPHONE

Out of the numerous and uncountable apps that track my handicap, this has 100% been the best out of them all. I love that there isn’t a max amount of scores you can input. And that you are given a graph showing your scores and how they range high to low, your amount of rounds played, and strokes played in total of all your rounds. You also give the course name, slope, and rating which was different at first, but I figured that it was cool as well since no other app i’ve tried has worked like that. Truly wonderful app and i hope it never changes!
Excellent App 10/10

I would highly recommend this app. It is a free and easy way to get an accurate handicap index. Personally, I have used it for YEARS. I have all of those scores and courses saved right here. It saves Everything! The good ones and the bad. The rush you get when you type that fresh low score in and hit save…Bang! Watch your number drop on the graph.

I’m a recreational golfer and really appreciate this app. It helps me organize my score history, gives me a place to enter course slope, rating, and par info, and it conveniently gives me my handicap and shows me my top rounds, etc. This is great for me now, and if I ever decide to dive deeper on some other app / system, at least I have some of my history already saved here. Thanks for the great app!
Great app and easy to use

I’ve been using Handicap Tracker for over two years and the improvements they’ve made have been phenomenal. I was happy with it in its base form but they’ve really done a great job with the recent improvements. I particularly like the ability to see which specific rounds are affecting my handicap so I’ve got an idea of where I need to score to help my index.
A brand-new look, and a brand-new engine under the hood.
Now on the World Handicap System
Your Handicap Index is now calculated with the World Handicap System (WHS) 2024 — the method used by golf's governing bodies. Your number may look a little different; that's the updated math, not a change to your game.
Smarter 9-hole rounds
Nine-hole rounds are now combined into 18-hole equivalents using the official expected-score method, so they count the right way toward your index.
Updated Course Handicaps
Course Handicaps now follow the updated formula — factoring course rating against par — and display as whole numbers.
A fresh new design
A redesigned, modern interface rebuilt for the latest iPhone.
Your history is safe
Every round and course you've logged is preserved. Only the calculation behind your numbers was updated.
