The mission of the Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 5 organization shall be to preserve life and property in the Livingston Parish Fire Protection District 5 area and to promote fire prevention through public education. We cover 27 square miles, operating out of 4 fire stations. We answer approximately 2800 emergency calls per year, ranging from minor medical problems to structure fires. We are a combination department made up of full time employees, part time employees and volunteers. As a Fire department in Livingston Parish we work hand in hand assisting other agency's in Livingston parish as needed to assure all Livingston Parish residents are provided the best help possible.
