In the exceptional ‘Guidethrough’ mode, not only will it display everything you will see in ‘Simple’ mode, it is smartly and dynamically written to walk you through exactly what steps you should be taking both legally and procedurally. Broken down into easily-identifiable stages of the investigative process, Duty Pro will assist you through the initial account right through to court procedures.

3.11.1 10/09/2021
Not much to report in this one... just a few little changes to make some loading more efficient.
There's a completely new version coming soon - a complete overhaul bringing an array of new features. Keep your eyes peeled!
As always, thank your for your continued support. You can always email hello@dutypro.co.uk or tweet @DutyProApp.
3.10.1 04/04/2021
A few minor changes to make the app run smoother and more efficient.
This will be the last version of Duty Pro which supports iOS 11 and below. To receive future updates, you will need to have iOS 12 or above running on your device. You can find out more about updating your device here: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204204
As ever, thank you for your constant feedback and support!
3.9.1 12/29/2020
A few little changes to add...
You can now submit offence suggestions directly within the app. Simply go to Offences and click the plus sign in the top right corner and fill in the details. I will review and add them as soon as I can.
A few little changes under the bonnet including some performance related issues.
Fixed bug DPB-47 which was causing some users issues in submitting bug reports... ironically.
As ever, thank you for your continued feedback and suggestions. If there's anything I can help with email hello@dutypro.co.uk or tweet @DutyPro
Stay safe out there!
3.8.1 09/30/2020
I have added "Copper's Glossary" which provides a glossary of abbreviations, phrases, mnemonics etc so you no longer need the awkward "what does that mean?" conversation with your colleagues. In addition to that, I've added some new functionality so you can submit your own items to the glossary directly within the app! Pretty clever, huh? All terms are manually approved and are done pronto.
Doughnuts now have a new feature which allows you to send feedback regarding whether a particular snippet was helpful or not. Ultimately it means I can build a better picture of what you like and how helpful they are.
Powers and Procedures have been moved to the side menu (top right from the main menu). It remains in beta as it is currently being completely remodelled to make it easier and more informative for you to use.
There are a few user interface changes, but nothing major. Mostly slightly different colours to text and the font sizes are bigger on the Guidethrough mode for better accessibility.
There are also a few other changes underneath the bonnet, but I won't bore you with those.
Thanks again for your continued support. As ever, you can contact me @DutyProApp on Twitter, email hello@dutypro.co.uk or if it relates to a bug, raise it directly in the app (under About Duty Pro).
Stay safe out there!
3.7.3 05/13/2020
A few people were receiving push notifications and then skipping the data update so they weren't seeing the new data. This has been changed now so the new data will automatically download.
Fixed a few bugs here and there, including an annoying one where it kept asking for a review.
I've also added a section for notes in the simple view of offences to attach specific messages.
Thanks agin for your support, as ever you can reach me @DutyProApp or email hello@dutypro.co.uk
3.6.1 03/26/2020
A few minor bugs squashed!
There's not much to report on this update. Most changes are under the bonnet as we prepare to migrate to a completely different system.
More on that coming soon!
As ever, get in touch @DutyProApp or hello@dutypro.co.uk if you have any questions, queries, recommendations of modification requests.
3.5.1 03/10/2020
A few little extra bits and pieces under the bonnet pending a major release...
For some users using the dark-mode feature on iOS, your app wasn't displaying correctly (blank areas where text should be, mysterious dark backgrounds... generally looked like it was permanently Halloween). Some users were also prompted to update their app version, despite it being up to date... this is also fixed. Thanks for raising these ones, Kasey!
As ever, let me know any additions or bugs which you have, either through the app, through Twitter @DutyProApp or by emailing hello@dutypro.co.uk
3.4.3 11/01/2019
A few little bits and pieces have been changed under the bonnet for iOS 13!
Also, some framework has been changed and added for a pending major release...
A couple of bug fixes and a new lick of paint in some areas, including a new style logo!
As ever, let me know any additions or bugs which you have, either through the app, through Twitter @DutyProApp or by emailing hello@dutypro.co.uk
3.3.1 10/28/2019
I've fixed a critical bug which was causing some specific devices to not open correctly (sorry about that)!
Added another couple of bits and bobs whilst I was at it and corrected an embarrassing spelling mistake which I will never reveal to you...
3.2.1 05/08/2019
I've added a few more bits following on from the release of version 3!
The search facility can now search for content from Doughnuts and the Powers & Procedures feature. Offline mode now allows all content to be available offline (except for bug reports) so you can use it all over the universe.
I've also fixed a couple of bugs which have been flagged up from the initial release of this version... including:
Some users were experiencing a bug which crashed their app when downloading data over a poor connection.
Some users (particularly on iOS 12.2) weren't getting new Doughnuts data coming through.
Some users kept receiving a pop up asking them to update when no update was available.
A new build is currently being worked on and it'll have a lot more functionality to make it personal for you!
3.1.1 05/08/2019
Duty Pro version 3 is here, and it's massive! Own the app which my own mother endorsed with: "What is it?"
There's been a huge overhaul of the design and code behind it and here's a brief summary:
• The app is now available both online and offline, making the data available whether you're on the street or in the darkened depths of custody.
• You can now super search! Click "Search" in the top left corner and enter a keyword to search the app in its entirety.
• Procedures have been added! It's a beta version, so I'll add more as I get feedback. It's designed to capture all the other non-crime incidents we deal with and the powers and procedures.
• Offences are now merged into one view for both criminal and traffic.
• Traffic now has much different dynamic content including penalty points and codes information.
There are loads more stuff undo the bonnet too. And an exciting new upgrade is coming soon... keep your eyes peeled!
Also fixed a number of raised bugs (thanks for raising them, keep them coming if you find any).
As ever, thanks for downloading and the feedback. It is greatly appreciated!
3.0.1 05/02/2019
Another update for you!
There's lots of framework updates in this app ready for a future version which is due to be released shortly.
This version also fixes a crash when it is opened without an active data connection and an issue where some users receive push notifications with the incorrect title.
As ever, keep your wonderful feedback coming. You can tweet me @DutyProApp or follow us on Facebook.
2.1.2 09/10/2018
I’m excited for this one, it's full of features (including a nice little Easter egg, can you find it?).
The entire app has had an incredible makeover of the user interface so it looks nicer than ever before. Look through the screenshots to see for yourself!
Version 2 introduces “Doughnuts” and “Duty Tools” amongst other incredible new features.
Doughnuts are little snippets of information, remotely pushed to your phone to give you a periodic nudge in the right direction with relevant offences and police powers. If it’s snowing, it might be something about offences relating to snow on cars... if it’s hot, it might be something to do with dogs in hot cars. You get the idea!
Duty Tools are now integrated within Duty Pro. We’ve introduced two new tools to help you calculate penalties for gross vehicle weight violations and speeding offences. Both tools will give you all the information required based on values you input into the app. Cool, hey? It also saves them to your phone so you can revisit your historic calculations!
New features allow you to follow us on Facebook and Twitter from a sleek new dropdown menu on the main menu, and to also share the app with your friends.
Also, included:
• The contacts list now has a key in the list so you can quickly find the PNC code, radio code contact details and so forth!
• We’ve introduced a widget! Install the included widget on your device’s spotlight page to receive doughnuts without opening the app!
• New icons for offence categories!
• New submit a bug report page!
Plus, so much more… I’ve forgotten most of it.
Also, there's a lot of work gone into the architecture ready for the next version which itself is exciting too!
Also, bug fixes:
DPB19 – A typo on special warnings.
Some iOS 10 bug fixes and those for smaller screens.
As ever, thank you for your support at Duty Pro. Please continue to email, tweet or send carrier pigeons with your requests and feedback. Every single one is read and used for future development of Duty Pro.
2.0 08/23/2018
There's been some huge 'under the bonnet' changes to this version to help you navigate Duty Pro a lot easier! It also includes some additional framework for some exciting changes coming over the next few weeks.
• Offence wording in Simple mode now has a selectable points to prove checker allowing individual points to be easily identifiable and to allow you to click-to-complete them as you go along,
• Offences in Simple mode now include definitions, where available, to clearly define what specific wording means within the offence,
• Sub offences and specific charging codes are no longer truncated in Simple mode to reduce the amount of clicking and pop ups on an offence screen,
• Offences which relate specifically to juvenile offenders are now labelled separately,
Also included in this version:
• Push notifications allowing you to keep up to date with in-app improvements, changes and news,
• Fixed a bug on the "Report a bug" page (ironically), which prevented some users from submitting bugs and/or errors,
• Fixed a couple of minor user interface bugs for users with a smaller size screen.
As ever, I hope you continue to use and enjoy the app. If you have any support questions, please feel free to contact me through www.dutypro.co.uk/support or tweet me @DutyProApp and I will endeavour to answer any questions or queries you have.

Thank you for your continued support! In this version...

As ever, you can tweet us @DutyProApp or continue to offer suggestions or raise a bug or error through www.dutypro.co.uk/support and I will get them fixed and released as soon as possible!
1.6.4 03/20/2018
Thank you for your continued support for Duty Pro! In this version we have made some fundamental changes to the offences:
• The platform has been changed to facilitate the use of grouped offences in Simple Mode. This means instead of having multiple offences, it will now display a main offence and the sub offences within the main offence,
• When using the search facility to filter results, users can now dismiss the keyboard by dragging the screen in addition to clicking the "Search" button,
• A couple of other minor bug fixes.
As ever, if you'd like to contact us for support or feedback, please do so by visiting our support page at www.dutypro.co.uk/support or tweet us @DutyProApp
