Record, Live-Stream, Share
A dedicated app for DJs to easily record, stream, and share mixes:
- Simple setup
- High-quality audio
- Seamless live-streaming and sharing
- 30-day free trial
Install DJM-REC on your iPhone or iPad, then simply plug your device into any compatible DJ mixer*1 using a single USB cable. The port is on the top of the mixer rather than the back, so connecting is a breeze – even in a smoky club.
Control the peak limiter in your DJ mixer via the app and avoid digital clipping with the tap of a button. Record audio from a digital mixer directly into digital format – there's no need for analog conversion.
Effortlessly live-stream your mix through Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Live, Instagram, or Snapchat.
Easily upload your recordings to cloud services such as Mixcloud, SoundCloud, and Dropbox.
Editable track time-stamps are automatically created thanks to the fader information transmitted from the DJ mixer to the app, making track-list creation simple.
And, if you use a CDJ-3000 with the DJM-V10 or DJM-V10-LF, track titles and artist names can also be added.
Simply update to the latest firmware to enable this.
Refresh old tracks with powerful club-standard sound that can be easily remastered. Swipe the loudness slider in DJM-REC to increase audio pressure and smoothly adjust the sub bass slider to create punchy, heavy, vibrant bass sounds.
Analog recording while your device isn’t connected to a mixer is simple using an external microphone or audio interface with the iPhone or iPad’s microphone function.
[*1] To use DJM-REC with our digital send/return- equipped DJ mixers (i.e. the DJM-V10, DJM-V10-LF, DJM-TOUR1, DJM-900NXS2, DJM-750MK2, or DJM-450), update the mixer’s firmware to the latest version via our support page [https://www.pioneerdj.com/support/software/].

- It is now possible to automatically record track titles and artist names to the track list when recording tracks using the CDJ-3000 and DJM-V10/LF connected in the PRO DJ LINK network.
- Other than the above condition, this function is not possible.
- Be sure to update the CDJ-3000 and DJM-V10/LF firmware to the latest version.

Love DJM-REC - works well due to continuous improvement
I'm DJ Jen Siren and I've posted over 50 DJ sets to SoundCloud that were recorded with DJM-REC. It has been a lifesaver for my pandemic DJ life! I've been able to recod moments where I've freestyled mg best mixes, and also perfect my DJ skills through listening back to my recording. Thank you!
My recommendation is to have the ability to adjust the sound on a time scale so that I can taper the volume into the intro and out of the outro. I usually use Ableton for that, but would prefer to be able to directly upload it to SoundCloud as a finished product.
That functionally is very nice, and I do appreciate being able to upload to different devices. It would also be cool for DJM-REC to be able to link to my CDJs so that the artists and song titles show up for the timings of my mixes. Right now, I export through recordbox, and upload to SoundCloud as private until I manually copy/paste from the export into my SoundCloud track info.
Again, I love this app!
This app is complete garbage. Went to throw a mix on my djm 900nsx2 and nothing was working. Updated the firmware on my cdj 2000nsx2 and djm nsx2 and still nothing. Ipad os 14.0 not working correctly, iOS 15.5 the same thing, the app shows djm connected but not showing any audio. Called pioneer DJ customer service and spoke with some idiot who didn't know anything about djm-rec, didn't know what a djm-900nsx2 was. Starting to loose faith in Pioneer all together, especially when your customer support reps have no knowledge over equipment and software. Was basically told to post my issue to the forums and a tech rep should respond back within 72 hours. Pretty horrible customer service all around.
