Doggone is a technology-based service designed to help reunite lost and wandering dogs with their owners quickly and safely.
The Doggone app links your dog’s virtual ID profile with their Doggone registration tag. You can confirm and update your contact details, manage your dog’s profile, and add important medical or behavioural information that may help if your dog is found.
If someone finds your dog, they can simply text the unique tag number displayed on the tag to 4133. Your nominated emergency contact number can then be sent back by text, helping the finder contact you and reunite you with your dog as quickly as possible.
The app also helps participating councils and animal management teams support a whole-of-community response to lost and wandering dogs.
Doggone gives dog owners peace of mind that, if their best friend goes missing, there is a simple, effective way to help bring them home.
