Paskong Pinoy
Christmas App For Filipinos
$1.99 · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The Ber months are here. Count the days to Christmas, sing 33 carols with lyrics that follow the music, and open a door a day through Advent.
Christmas in the Philippines is the longest in the world. It begins on the first of September and does not let go until the Three Kings arrive in January.
Paskong Pinoy is built for all four months of it.
SING
33 songs, and every one of them plays.
Eighteen traditional carols now have music and synced lyrics that follow along line by line as the melody plays — tap any line to jump to it. Silent Night, O Holy Night, Joy to the World, The First Noel, O Come All Ye Faithful, Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Deck the Halls, Jingle Bells, We Wish You a Merry Christmas and more. Alongside them sits a collection of much-loved Filipino Christmas sing-alongs with words on screen.
Every song carries its own story — who wrote it, when, and the part you probably did not know. Silent Night was first sung to a guitar in an Austrian village in 1818. Jingle Bells was the first song ever broadcast from space. And the comma in God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen goes somewhere most people do not put it.
COUNT DOWN
The days to Christmas, from wherever you are in the season — the Ber months, the nine dawn masses, Noche Buena, Pasko itself.
SIMBANG GABI
Tick off each of the nine dawn masses as you attend them, from the sixteenth to the twenty-fourth. Folk belief says a novena completed without missing one earns a wish.
ADVENT
Twenty-four doors, one for each day of December. Behind them: a carol to sing, a tradition explained, something to cook, or something to do that day.
KWENTO
Ten short pieces on where the season's traditions come from. The parol and why a star hangs in every window. Why Simbang Gabi happens before sunrise. What belongs on the Noche Buena table, and how bibingka is baked between two layers of coals. Pagmamano and aguinaldo. Panunuluyan. The Ber months themselves.
LARO
102 trivia questions across five categories, weighted towards Pinoy Pasko, with a daily challenge and a streak to keep.
For children:
• Hanap-Salita — a word search that quietly teaches Filipino Christmas vocabulary. Find PANUNULUYAN and the app tells you what it means.
• Memory — match the parols, six or eight pairs.
• Gumawa ng Parol — design your own lantern, choose its points, colours and tassels, then save or share it.
WIDGETS
Put the countdown on your Home Screen or Lock Screen. During the novena it shows which night of Simbang Gabi it is; in December it shows today's Advent door. Tap it and the app opens straight to whatever it was telling you about.
NO ADS. NO TRACKING. NO ACCOUNT.
Paid once, and that is the whole arrangement. The app collects nothing, sends nothing anywhere, and works with no connection at all. Your favourites and scores stay on your device.
Maligayang Pasko.
Ratings & Reviews

Paskong Pinoy has been rebuilt from the ground up.
REBUILT
The whole app is new — written fresh for modern iPhone and iPad, with dark mode, Dynamic Type, VoiceOver support and proper handling of every screen size since 2016.
CAROLS THAT PLAY
Eighteen traditional carols now have music, where before there were only words on a page. Each one comes with synced lyrics that follow the melody line by line as it plays. Tap any line to jump straight to it.
SIMBANG GABI TRACKER
Tick off each of the nine dawn masses as you attend them. It remembers across the whole novena and resets cleanly each December.
ADVENT CALENDAR
Twenty-four doors, one a day through December, each holding a carol, a story, a recipe or something to do.
KWENTO
Ten new pieces on the traditions behind the season — the parol, Simbang Gabi, the Noche Buena table, bibingka and puto bumbong, namamasko, pagmamano, the belen, panunuluyan, and why the Ber months exist at all.
MORE TRIVIA
102 questions now, up from 20, across five categories and weighted towards Pinoy Pasko. Adds a daily challenge, streaks and per-category best scores.
THREE GAMES FOR CHILDREN
Hanap-Salita, a Filipino Christmas word search that teaches the words as you find them. Memory, matching parols in pairs. And Gumawa ng Parol, where you design your own lantern and share it as a picture.
WIDGETS
A countdown for the Home Screen and, new in this version, the Lock Screen. It knows which night of Simbang Gabi it is and which Advent door belongs to today, and tapping it opens the app right there.
SONG NOTES
Every song now carries its own history — composers, dates, and the stories behind them.
A NEW LOOK
A Christmas sky runs behind every screen, from deep pine down to warm ember, with parols drifting in it. It brightens as the season builds and celebrates on Christmas Day itself.
