This version provides a rich statistics view. This view allows the user to see the historical metrics of past captures.

This new version of Earth Gizmo includes speed and elevation visualizations. These visualizations are graphs that auto populate as the earth gizmo is actively tracking the users movements. This version also includes enhanced archive view with icons of previous Earth Gizmo captures and the pause resume feature. The user can manually pause the active tracking. It will also automatically pause when navigating away from the Earth Gizmo app. When an active capture is paused, it can be resumed with a push of a button.

New features include a menu page, the ability to capture and save your adventures, the ability to see 'real time' your distance in miles while in auto-capture mode, performance enhancements, and additional bug fixes to give you the most enjoyable experience while using this app.

New features in this version include more information about your captured journey. This information includes the total journey time, and the total distance traveled. This update also includes the ability to share an image of your journey and data with your friends. After the journey is complete a share button is provided. Pressing this button creates a photo and brings up the share dialog of apps to share with. These apps may include Facebook, Messages, Email, and others.
