Sound Journal is a quiet way to capture moments as they are — not just how they look, but how they sound.
Take a photo and record the ambient audio at the same time. The result is a sound journal: a still image paired with the sound of that moment in time. Wind through trees. Rain on a roof. A room before everyone arrives. Friends laughing.
Sound Journal isn’t about performance or speed. It’s about listening. You don’t need to rush, caption, or explain. Just capture the moment and return to it later.

Sound Journal is intentionally simple. There are no feeds, no analytics, and no pressure to share. Your moments are kept for you.
Tips for the best results
• For the most compatible file export use JPEG/H.264 quality. Navigate to: Settings > Camera > Formats > "Most compatible"
• Disable Wifi & Bluetooth and use flight mode for less noise in recordings

Sound Journal is an independent, self-funded project created by artists Benjamin & Bosko. It’s built slowly and carefully, with an emphasis on attention, memory, and long-term use.
