This Slope Calculator is a handy, easy-to-use tool that compares the “pros and cons” of sloping an excavation versus using shoring and shielding equipment. Simply enter the Soil Type you will be are working in —Type A, B, or C — along with the dimensions of your excavation to see the calculated results, AND a drawing to guide you and your crews. You can even save the results and data as a PDF, and send them to anyone, anywhere via e-mail.
