See IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, explore network details, and keep dynamic DNS hostnames up to date—all from your Mac’s menu bar.
IP Menu puts your network information in your Mac’s menu bar. See local and public IP addresses, copy them with a click, and open detailed information about your connections.
• Local and public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses
• A compact menu with full interface details in a submenu
• Gateways, DNS servers, subnet masks, prefixes, and MAC addresses
• Country flags and ISP information for your public address
• Dynamic DNS support for Cloudflare, DuckDNS, No-IP, DynDNS, and custom HTTPS update URLs
• An option to show a dynamic DNS hostname in the menu bar
• Credentials stored in your Mac’s Keychain
• Configurable menu bar appearance and a red or green connectivity icon
Dynamic DNS requires an account and hostname with a supported provider. Updates run while IP Menu is open and your Mac is awake, using the public address of your current connection, including a VPN. IPv6 availability depends on your network. Country information is approximate.

Would like to be able to see the external IP in the menubar. That’s what changes for my system. Perhaps, the last one you check is the default.
Developer Response
New update has this :)
Works just fine - would love email notifications

This is a very helpful tool, particuarly when your IP address gets changed. It would be really great if this program could send an email out whenever it detects that the IP address has in fact changed.
Developer Response
I’ll add that feature request to the list.
Crashing every time
Berlify
This app used to work for me. Now when I launch it on my macbook air (Sonoma 14.5), my external IP is showing in the top bar but as soon as I click on it (for more info or settings), it crashes. I tried re-installing, restarting my computer but no help. I guess its time to find a new app that will always show me my IP.
Developer Response
Thank you for switching to an other app instead of being a support burden on the app author.I wish all my users were like you.Seriously though. Thanks for the feedback. I’ll see if I can recreate the crash and get a fix out to you.
Just what I needed, but no help or support available

What do the shortcut keys mean? What does "Enable Login Item" mean?Would be nice if there was an option to remove the "IP: " prefix in the menu bar.
Developer Response
Shortcut keys copy the address to your clipboard.Login item makes it run automatically when you turn on your computer. And I added a setting to hide “IP:” from the menu bar.:)
• Added local and public IPv6 support.
• Added Network Details with gateways, DNS servers, subnet masks, prefixes, and MAC addresses.
• Added country flags and ISP information.
• Added dynamic DNS support for Cloudflare, DuckDNS, No-IP, DynDNS, and custom HTTPS providers.
• Show configured DNS hostnames in their own menu section or directly in the menu bar.
• Added provider signup links and an About window with support and other apps.
• Kept the main menu compact and fixed red/green connectivity icon tinting.
