The game overall is the average survival game. Unlock recipes, mine stones, hunt animals, collect wood and leaves, a decent building system etc. but there is definitely room for improvement. This game at first is overall fun, like building your first hut, making your first meal, traveling the landscape, but soon once you craft all the weapons, finish the interior and exterior of your first home, and traveled the island, the game gets very repetitive. To start off, the terrain needs to have an entire overhaul. The mountains feel too bumpy and climbing them feels so unrealistic. Secondly, there’s only one type of trees. tropical trees. There should be actual forests, and different types of trees with more complex vegetation such as plants, flowers, berries, and fruits you can use for recipes, bushes that you can crouch in and hunt animals from since the crouch and stealth in the game doesn’t work, and maybe stones you can collect so there’s more immersion making the grass not appear plain and adds another way of collecting rock. Also should be more recipes for different types of tools and weapons, like wooden tools, stone tools, and metal/iron tools and weapons. Different types of arrows, more armor like metal, and more types of outer design like metal and wood walls and floors and way more furniture. That’s all I can think of, but the game is pretty fun for like a day or two until you are maxed out on everything. Hopefully multiplayer will come out with some of these features, the game will definitely rise in popularity.

Been playing just a few days but this game is sweet so far. Good controls, good game play. I’ve been playing for about a week or so at this review update. I have a problem, I can’t load my recently saved game which is a bit frustrating. The app keeps closing when I try to open it, however, I can start a new game or a different saved one. Seems like a small but annoying bug. Anyways, I’m still enjoying the game and have explored a country or islands but there really isn’t anything on them which I find kinda pointless, but there are more to explore so time will tell. I have also had some difficulty when trying to place my roofs. I have a 3x3 foundation two story home but can’t get the last straw roof where I need it to be. For the most part I think the developers did a good job covering a lot of the ideas of survival, the stove, planer, stone cutting and smithing stations are a neat idea. I was suggest maybe a way to dig the soil and things to find and also ways to cultivate the land and plant crops for long term survival. I like the hunting, it’s nuanced but not too difficult, I have like 100 steaks hahaha. Also maybe some things to find when diving in the lake and oceans such as shells, other fishing, maybe ways to make traps for hunting. There are SO many aspects to survival that can be added and I’m interested to see what the developers do. Oh!! And so far I haven’t found a point to the game other than homesteading and survival, which is fun, but once that’s mastered then what? Just sayin’. Something to think about!! Thanks for the game!!!

This game is so fun if you got the patience. I see so many negative reviews about things that are supposed to be that way in this game. Tools running out, nothing lasts making it from hand. The bone tools last longer. It’s supposed to be hard to kill the animals. The bigger ones are harder than the smaller ones, of course. You go through the game not only defending yourself but collecting materials to build huts, survive, etc etc. love that the fox pet is free with ads, but the hippos attack her like crazy (do hippos not like fox’s). It might be hard to incorporate but you should make it able to control the pet, she attack when I’m just trying to chill, and collect. She’s there to protect me (speaking of: if the pet getting attacked there should be some vibration or a different color of alerts like the ones the player get when getting attacked) You also shouldn’t have to press ‘equip’ in the quick pick menu at the bottom of the screen. I should be able to switch up what I choose to put in the menu very easily. QUESTION: When will the multiplayer be finished and added, will I be able to play with who I choose? That would be cool if I did. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS GAME. BEEN HOOKED SINCE I DOWNLOADED. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it. But definitely recommended it to family and will do the same with friends. :D UPDATE: still playing this game years later. Restarted but progress is just about the same. Still got the same question: When is multiplayer coming? It’s been “Coming Soon” for years now. HERES SOMETHING YOU GUYS CAN DO: give us half walls or fences for our bridges. I’m tired of falling off and having to swim the rest of the way (lowering my health), or even having to turn around back to where I started, just to get back on the bridge and try again. Think it’d be weird/stupid to use full walls on them, so half walls or fences, please.

This game could be so much more than it is.. but it falls flat. Even as the creator of the game, you can’t say that you are able to actually enjoy this for more than a few days right? There has to be some sort of objective for this to work.. especially in a survival situation. At the very, very least you could make a calendar and a clock...track your days on the island with the calendar and use the clock/ day counter to track how many minutes/hours/days you survived until you died .. then at least we would get some gratification out of how many days we went without being killed. Also, what about when you’re flourishing with plenty of resources, food and water.. there could be milestones to reach regarding how many days you not just ‘survived’ but ‘thrived’ on the island. And I’ll just state the obvious... you created a survival game with no rescue objective? There are many good aspects to this game, but it just doesn’t feel like a complete game, it feels like it launched too soon and no one was willing to put in the time to make it great. There has to be more creative minds on your team. If not, hire me and I’ll turn it into a prepper’s dream. Just so everyone knows (in case you were excited and really wanting a survival game) all you do is kill animals, gather wood/leaves etc., build your shelter (which doesn’t really serve a purpose) and that’s basically it over and over until you quit pressing the icon on your screen and delete it. Has a lot of potential though, shame.
