I love my Lord Jesus, he is everything to me and I am fighting everyday for his love forgiveness and understanding. I now he loves me and my family, I know he is my protector. Great idea but the NIV is missing quite a few audio files

My main purpose for purchasing this app was to obtain audio files for the NIV version of the Bible. I like to listen as I read along. Overall, I wanted to love the app, but instead my conclusion is that I only “just like it” due to it having several flaws. 1. To download audio files for the NIV version, you must download every chapter of each book individually (all 1189). So this takes a LONG time (at my house this took about 15 hours). 2. There are several chapters with no audio file. Exodus: ch 9Leviticus: ch 26Numbers: ch 2 is repeat of ch 11 Samuel: ch 13 garbled1 Samuel: ch 14 is missing several verses at the beginning of the chapter.1 Chronicles: ch 9 is repeat of ch 8Job: Ch 42 audio is repeat of ch 40 audioPsalm 73: audio is from something elseIsaiah: ch 21, 37 missing3. There are several chapters where the audio file is present; however it is in another language (not English). Deuteronomy: ch 9 Joshua: ch 24 Ruth: ch 22 Samuel: ch 202 Kings: ch 25 2 Chronicles: ch 3Nehemiah: ch 3, 7 4. Job: ch 11 text is KJV but the audio is NIV5. The entire book of Judges is missing (no text or audio). If you select any chapter in Judges, then the app just shuts down. However, for the other audio files that can be downloaded (all 1189 less the 40 listed above), the audio is quite nice and easy to listen along. If you can get by without the specific chapters listed above, I would recommend this app. Hopefully, there will be fixes soon for these omissions.

This App is one of my greatest treasures. The most important thing I like about this App is the audio download which lets you save offline so you can play later and also we can download chapter by chapter as we listen. When I am on road I switch on audio so I can listen to the Bible while on Road. What a great asset. Appreciate the work done by the developers, readers and others involved who could make this App a blessing to many. God bless!

I consider it a blessing to always read the word of God receiving a greater blessing sometimes to hear it although I do you have the capacity to read there are some words that I find a little more challenging than others and thank God for the knowledgeTo not allow the stumbling block to inhibit me from enjoying loving and relishing in the word of God and thank you for allowing me to share this in Jesus name I pray amen
