I had been very dissapointed with the Quicktime Player. When I jumped forward during movies, especially concerts, to get to songs I liked best, the vocals would be seconds behind the video. I tried everything I could think of and finally I got Final Video Player and it was my final video player as I never had this syncing problem again. I highly recommend it, especially if the video and audio are not in sync.

I was in my studio and decided to go thru my mp3 folders. And I was picking out songs to play and opening them. And I thought, it sure would bench to have some kind of player that could just play without having to open each one up. Perfect and so simple to use. Just chose the folder and you can remove songs you dont want to play at that time. So worth the 14 for the lifetime. I’ll purchase it next pay day.

For many years I used VLC and was satisfied with its performance. When I purchased a new MacBook I couldn’t find it in the App Store so I downloaded another (nameless) one based on the ratings. After just a few episodes of a downloaded series I looked for something better. Final had fewer overall ratings but a higher score. My search is over; it is better than anything I have ever used.

I have a small Olympus Digital Voice Recorder that saves audio files in WMV format. Until I found Final Video Player, I was forced to run a conversion utility to convert them to MP3 format. Now I can listen to them without converting them, and I can keep the master copies in WMV format, which is 1/3 the size of the same recording in MP3 format. I also have a game camera that produces AVI files. QuickTime doesn't handle WMV or AVI. This program handles both of these formats without any fuss.
