This was a good game when it first came out, but now it’s just annoying to play. You have to make multiple trips back and forth to locations to harvest wood, but your tools break halfway through. Then you try to gather other resources, but your inventory fills up too quickly so you have to go back to your base. If you make it back to your base without being ambushed by another “player,” your clothes are probably worn down and need to be replaced. Now you have to use what little resources you gathered to build a chest or tool to replace the one that broke. Now it’s time to go back out, if you have enough energy to make the travel. Once you start to level up a little and start missions, you will suddenly get ambushed by multiple hostiles all at once, severely decreasing your health, while your weapon does little damage. Sure, you can pay a bunch of money to get more equipment, but that still doesn’t help the game mechanics and so terribly slow building or crafting speeds. So annoying. I give this game a chance every few months, and ultimately end up putting it back down. I picked it back up and now have discovered not only does your bags hold limited amounts as always, but now they wear down - causing you to lose storage slots! Ridiculous. This game is too busy and just needs to be simplified. It’s trying to be too much. Make the weapons and clothing last longer, decrease the crafting time, and just make it less monotonous. It has the potential to be an awesome game, but right now, it’s just not.
