Let’s start by clarifying that you will need to spend actual money to get strong in this game. I have defeated higher level players by purchasing hero packs. I mean, it’s not too bad as you always have a safety net on resources that can not be looted when you get attacked. However, I believe poor management is killing the game. You will always hear players complain how much money hungry these guys are… in my opinion, I think is reasonable as long as you get happy customers right?? Well let me tell you my personal experience. I have spent close to $500 so far this year, and to be honest I don’t mind. It keeps my mind off things for a while and it’s fun to play. What got to me was when I tried to purchase a base decoration, supposedly you are supposed to purchase packs that might have a % of giving you the decor. It starts from like $4.99 to up to $99. Well I decided to go ahead and purchase all of the packs if needed to get the decor. Turns out I bought all of them and didn’t get the decor… I felt cheated, I submitted a ticket thinking they would be reasonable and at least release the decor giving all the money that I have spent. I get an email back saying, good luck keep on buying the packs until you get the decor. I have decided that I will not spent a single dollar in this game anymore. How can you be this dumb to treat your customers like that? It makes no sense. I manage few companies in real life and management like this will only hurt your company in the long term.

Against my better judgement, I downloaded the game following an ad where it very clearly showed that this was a tower defense game where your city grows into a thriving metropolis. It is decidedly NOT tower defense, and the buildings you start with will not change in appearance whatsoever. I played for a couple weeks anyway; because it was fine. However, I happened to be parked right next to a “neighbor” who either lives on this app or is shelling out a ton of money to buy all the add-ons, and he decided to attack me no fewer than 10 times a day, often several times in a few minutes. My soldiers were killed as quickly as I could build them and I struggled to keep a reasonable amount of resources to expand. I definitely did not have enough to protect myself. My “neighbor” is several levels above me and I stood no chance at defense except to move. Unfortunately it takes an absolute ton of effort to gain 2,000 diamonds (assuming you have better things to spend actual money on), so I couldn’t get around to it. The alliances are largely pointless and not worth the effort because only a couple of the hundred people are ever active, and it’s not often at the same time. Basically if you have a job, boyfriend/girlfriend, kids, or a realization that our time on this earth is finite and you can never get your time back, then this game is not worth your time. Deleted.

I got this game a week or two ago and it’s been keeping me mildly entertained since then. First, the trailers are very misleading. Your buildings don’t change in appearance unless you get the one item that makes them look a little better for a bunch of irl money. Second, this is a war game very much like GoT: Conquest, which means that unless you throw a bunch of money at this game, you’ll likely end up being attacked over and over from folks who are P2W. These weren’t the reason for the negative review. This morning I logged on and started my normal thing to make more troops, upgrade my buildings and gather resources. As I am looking at the world map to find a food node that I can gather, a notification popped up that My account has been suspended. In this notification box, there was a space for the a reason...and it was blank. The only other options I had were to exit the game or start a new one. I had just started my upgrade to Base level 11 when this happened. A never used any third party programs out anything as I strictly played on my mobile device. I have contacted their tech support but have yet to receive any reply. This is extremely shady business. I would not use another app from this developer and I suggest to others they do the same. They seem to be only interested in the revenue. The entire time I only purchased one pack that was 5 bucks. Maybe I didn’t purchase enough packs and that’s why I was banned.

Trying to understand how a game is suppose to be fun . When only if you are are in China you actually have a chance to smile and enjoy these games. Your games are pretty much china ruling the world and the dev giggling about it. Cheap Packages, special little perks and seasonal heroes complete max out on day of release only for their people. It’s a war game not one country destroying all “westerns or melons” players for fun and then throwing racist remarks at anyone not Chinese. You speak of match making but all I see a very unfair balance between the world and your kind. Screen shot was the first day of season of eden. Not possible for a max apc of season 4 heroes minutes after eden started. Not to mention we are the only way of keeping this game active. Might want to think about even out the playing field before many others leave. This game is no longer fun and really it’s a bunch of bullies from one country ironically same country this game was made in. Only thing you can take away from Me is the fun in the game. Oh wait that’s already happen, so make my gems disappear, make my heroes disappear. Prove me right on what’s Happen. But many like me are Having the same issue. Without us there no last shelter. Therefore your people can’t control or bully us if these apps are delete from our game. Just making it fair is all I’m asking for. Without some change you going to have a lot of dead states on your hands and Chinese players stuck with all the power alone..
