Paradise City Island Sim 4+

Paradise City Island is an entertaining and stress free way to spend a little time. Yes, it can be played without any cost, but let’s be real. It cost the developers money to publish it, so I don’t mind spending $3 to $5 every once in a while.

Without the collecting of keys of City Island 5, there are only two options to buy; money collected or gold collected. But, I can make do with the way it is.

I see others have mentioned it’s buggy. Paradise Island does not crash as much as City Island 5 did, but it does freeze sometimes and occasionally it causes my machine to restart. Not often, but bothersome when it does.

I switched from City Island 5 because after all the property on the 5 or 6 islands is purchased and built on, there doesn’t seem to be a way to find other islands. At least on a Mac. Disappointing when you spend weeks building several islands and the only thing left to do is to upgrade buildings and collect money.

Overall, Sparkling Society has a nice suite of games. I do wish they would pay attention to the remarks in the reviews and make changes occasionally. But, thanks for the stress free games.

I enjoy the game, It’s fun and looks nice when it runs properly. I've been playing for a few months, but the application seems to tack my activity monitor. I’ve changed system display preferences to see if this had any effect and it doesn’t seem to change the performance results. It does freeze quite often when you close the app so be prepared for that. I guess the developer wants you to keep it open 24 7.

The way that your systems keeps track of rewards is misleading and to be granted a reward your game time spent in-play is outrageous. If you sped the game play time up by about 50% you’ll increase the number of users who are spend in-time game play. Solid game but there is room for improvement.

nice to come home and build and decorate a stress free invironment. been playing for a while, helps that I can shop and collect money at the same time. My only issue is many of the businesses cost too many bricks of gold and sometimes the homes get a bit high too, but overall I enjoy a week-end of Sim creating....thank you
