IN-APP-PURCHASE TERMS Some of the features in the app requires the user to subscribe to Journal X Pro Subscription. This auto-renewable subscription is of 1 year time period with 1 week of free trial. Its price is $20 a year. The user will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase. We're working hard to make the iPad version of Journal X live ASAP. I have mental health issues and a digital diary is best for me. While sometimes a little teen like I love the fact I can create different journals, add weather, moods, things I have done as stickers and not typing it all out. I wish there was more color options and font choices but that is me being picky. The overall app is wonderful and easy to use. I love I can set a password. Now, 1 feature I wish there was was stealth mode where if you flip the phone down or make a gesture the app will lock and turn off so other people will not know if you did not want them to see what you were doing. I have used many different journaling apps but this one is my favorite to use.

I have major trust issues. I’ve been threw a whole hell of a lot and I’m 12. So when I first downloaded this app I avoided it didn’t think it would help. Then when I shut everyone out all I had was this app so I thought to hell with it ( yes I am a cussing 12 year old and no my mother did raise me right) so just when I decide to try it I immediately notice that a lot of the best parts of the app you have to pay for. Wow no wonder why u have a 4.5 rating? Maybe because the other half can’t afford the best parts of your app. So after a couple of days of consistency of writing in this journal I went to write in my journal. When I start typing I just think of everything all my pain anger sadness happiness everything. When I was done per usual I just push the arrow (thinking it automatically saves it like it usually does) I go back and reread it like I do with all of my entries. It’s not there I try refreshing and searching. Nothing works. It’s gone like I never spent hours typing it. For a 12 year old girl who has been through pain and let down her whole life you would think this wouldn’t phase her.

There should also be the option for italics, bold, and underlined words, and possibly different fonts and colors. Also, I suggest possibly creating specific questions or observations that a person can answer/make everyday to make the entries more consistent if they’d like. Another small thing, I feel like the stickers should have more options and more character. Finally, I had only used the app for about 15 minutes and it crashed. I was pleased to find that it saved what I had written, but nonetheless it is something that you might want to work on. Other than that, it is very cool and useful for venting, so thank you for that.
