TheFans: Ground Tracker
Track Every Away Day & Ground
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Every ground tells a story. TheFans helps you log every one of them.
Whether you're chasing The 92, ticking off non-league gems, or simply building a record of every away day you've ever made, TheFans is the app built by football fans, for football fans.
LOG EVERY GROUND YOU'VE VISITED Add the grounds you've been to, record the exact matches you attended, and build a complete history of your football journey — from your first game to your latest away day.
RICH STATS FROM EVERY MATCH TheFans automatically generates in-depth statistics from your logged games. Goals, appearances, results, clubs visited — the kind of data no other football tracking app comes close to matching.
TRACK YOUR PROGRESS TOWARD THE BIG CHALLENGES How far are you from completing The 92? How many of The 42 have you ticked off? TheFans tracks your progress toward the challenges that matter most to groundhoppers, giving you a clear picture of how far you've come — and how far there is still to go.
YOUR FOOTBALL JOURNEY ON THE MAP See every ground you've visited plotted on an interactive stadium map. Discover new venues, plan future away days, and watch your map fill up as your groundhopping journey grows.
BULK IMPORT YOUR HISTORY. Already keeping a spreadsheet? TheFans lets you import your entire match history via CSV — so you can bring years of away days into the app in minutes, not months.
BUILT WITH FANS, FOR FANS Our community shapes the app. Got a suggestion? The team listens — and acts. TheFans is constantly evolving thanks to the supporters who use it every day.

The summer football continues, and so do the updates.
We've added a new Top Groundhoppers section to the Explore tab, giving you a quick look at some of the most dedicated football travellers on TheFans. Whether you're chasing the top spot or simply wondering how anyone manages to visit that many grounds, the leaderboard is now just a tap away.
Prediction Game players also get a new feature. You can now see what other users have selected for the special prediction questions. Curious who backed England, Spain, Brazil, or something a little more adventurous? The answers are now there for everyone to see.
Behind the scenes, we've also made a number of improvements, fixed a few bugs, and quietly shown several gremlins the red card.
As always, thank you for supporting TheFans — built by football fans, for football fans.
Good luck with your predictions. If England win the World Cup, we'll all claim we knew it was coming.
v5.10.0 1d ago
A small but important update.
Dark mode improvements for the Prediction Game
Bug fixes and performance improvements
A few visual tweaks and polish
We've spent some time getting everything match-fit before the tournament starts.
The app should now look much better in dark mode, with fewer surprises than some of the predictions currently being submitted.
As always, thanks for supporting TheFans — built by football fans, for football fans.
v5.9.0 2d ago
World Cup 2026 is almost here!
This update includes a number of improvements to the new World Cup Prediction Game, including usability tweaks, visual polish, and general improvements to make predictions smoother and faster.
We've also fixed a few bugs and tidied up some of the behind-the-scenes bits before kick-off.
After all, making predictions is stressful enough without the app joining in.
Good luck, and may your predictions age better than the average pundit's.
v5.8.1 3d ago

v5.8.0 4d ago
This update is mostly bug fixes, improvements, and general behind-the-scenes wizardry.
We’ve squashed a few pesky bugs, polished things up, and made the app a bit smoother around the edges. Think less “dramatic new signing” and more “solid January transfer window business”.
A few crashes have been sent off, some loading issues have been given the hairdryer treatment, and overall performance should now feel a little more Premier League than Sunday League.
We’ve also fixed the web login flow when signing in by scanning the QR code with your phone. Slightly less “why isn’t this working?” and slightly more “proper away-day efficiency”.
As always, thank you for using TheFans and for continuing to support an app built by football fans, for football fans
v5.7.1 May 20
TheFans keeps getting more dangerously addictive for groundhoppers.
This update is a proper chunky one.
Distance Travelled is finally here properly.
Set your home location and TheFans will now automatically calculate the distance travelled for new matches you add. No more opening Google Maps like it’s 2009.
Going to a World Cup, Euros, away weekend or random football adventure somewhere you can’t pronounce? You can now create Trips too. Matches linked to a trip will calculate distance in a much smarter way, so your local matches while away won’t suddenly think you teleported home between games.
We’ve also added:
• Auto-fill distance for newly added games
• Option to sync and calculate distance for older posts
• Better tracking for your lifetime football-related suffering across the country (and beyond)
Another big addition: TV Stats.
At last, your evenings watching football from the sofa now count too. You can track TV matches separately with dedicated stats, because watching a rainy Tuesday Championship game from your living room is still commitment.
Feedback tracking is now much better.
Previously, you could report incorrect data and then… nothing. Like shouting into the football void.
Now you can see the status of your feedback directly from your profile settings and keep track of what’s been fixed, reviewed, or still waiting for us to stop arguing with databases.
As always:
More fixes.
More improvements.
More reasons to accidentally spend far too much time organising football memories instead of doing anything productive.
Thanks for supporting TheFans
v5.7.0 May 17
Right then… after many requests, gentle nudges, not-so-gentle nudges, and probably a few fans shouting at their phones in the stands…
You can now finally add videos to your posts on TheFans
Yes, actual moving pictures.
Your limbs. Your away end chaos. That last-minute winner. The terrible defending. The pint balancing act before kick-off. It all deserves more than a blurry photo taken with frozen fingers in Row Z.
This update lets you attach videos directly to your groundhopping posts, making your memories feel a bit more alive — and a bit less like CCTV evidence from 2007.
A few ideas:
• Capture the atmosphere before kick-off
• Record the limbs after a 94th-minute winner
• Show off your away day adventures
• Upload chants, tifos, pyro, celebrations, heartbreak and questionable refereeing decisions
• Or simply document the exact moment your club ruined your weekend again
We’ve also worked behind the scenes to improve reliability and smooth out a few rough edges across the app.
TheFans keeps growing thanks to all your feedback, screenshots, bug reports, feature ideas, and the occasional “why on earth doesn’t this exist yet?” message.
As always:
Keep groundhopping.
Keep ticking off grounds.
Keep collecting memories.
And try not to drop your phone while filming the winner.
v5.6.0 May 12
Big one this time.
You can now export all your groundhopping stats into a single Excel file. Properly done. Multiple sheets, nicely organised, everything in one place. Whether you want to analyse your travels, keep a backup, or just show off your numbers to your mates… it’s all there.
Once exported, you can share it instantly—send it to your computer, email it, WhatsApp it, or keep it safe for later. Your data, your way.
Elsewhere in this release:
You can now edit player details more easily
Fixed a navigation issue when viewing checked-in fans on team and competition screens
Fixture details now include extra time and penalty goals (as they should)
Tap on profile pictures to view them full screen
More improvements on the way. As always, keep the feedback coming.
v5.5.0 May 4
A completely new way to relive your football memories
We’ve added something a bit special to your feed: On This Day.
From now on, every time you open TheFans, you’ll see matches you attended on this very date in previous years. The away days. The last-minute winners. The questionable refereeing decisions. The goals you still talk about. And yes… the ones you’d rather forget (we’ve included those too, you’re welcome).
Your groundhopping journey isn’t just about adding new matches — it’s about remembering the story you’ve built along the way. On This Day brings those moments back to life, automatically.
Expect to rediscover:
Matches you attended years ago — surfaced right on time
Stadiums you’ve ticked off your list (even the ones that no longer exist)
Competitions, teams, and football moments that shaped your journey
Proper nostalgia, without needing to scroll endlessly through your profile
It’s your personal football history, served daily.
We’ve also made a few improvements behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly — fewer bugs, better performance, and a more polished experience across the app.
So whether it’s a rainy Tuesday night in Stoke or a European away day you’ll never forget, your memories are now just one scroll away.
As always, keep the feedback coming — we’re building TheFans with you.
v5.4.0 Apr 30
Your groundhopping matchday just got an upgrade.
You can now add photos directly from the post footer — no extra taps, no fuss. Capturing the moment (or the questionable pie) is quicker than ever.
We’ve also improved the matchday experience with better support for digital programmes and tickets. Add, link, and organise them more easily, with smarter covers and cleaner visuals.
Behind the scenes, we’ve tightened things up:
– Improved editing reliability (because it should just work)
– Better price handling for your matchday bits
– Fixed a few crashes that were doing their own thing
And yes… we’ve quietly introduced supporter subscriptions for those who want to back TheFans and keep the football going.
Less friction. More football. As it should be.
v5.3.0 Apr 28
A completely new TheFans experience keeps getting sharper.
This update brings deeper match context, smarter navigation across stats, and a number of quality-of-life improvements.

General performance tuning and stability fixes across the app
Under the Hood
Continued groundwork for upcoming features, including ticket integrations
As always, more to come. Keep exploring, and let us know what you think.
v5.2.0 Apr 14
TheFans v5.1.0 – More stats, more control, more reasons to keep ticking off grounds
We’ve added more depth to your groundhopping journey and tidied up a few rough edges along the way.
Deeper match stats
Your matches now tell a bigger story. You can add and see:
Season match number
All-time match number
Distance travelled to the game
These stats are now visible across your posts in the feed and contribute to your overall profile—so every mile and every match counts.
Improved profile stats
Distance travelled is now included in your stats overview, displayed in a clean, compact format (yes, those long away days finally look as impressive as they felt).
Better post controls
That missing “…” menu on post details? Fixed.
You can now access the full set of options—edit, delete, report, hide, or block—just like in the feed. Everything where you expect it, finally.
Dark mode polish
We’ve made a number of improvements to dark mode across the app, so late-night scrolling after a midweek away game feels just right.
More stats, smoother experience, and a few less “wait, where’s that button gone?” moments.
As always, keep the feedback coming—and keep ticking off those grounds.

Thank you for being part of TheFans journey — your feedback continues to shape the app.
v5.0.0 Apr 7
Some of you noticed that the image on the login screen had mysteriously disappeared (like a striker ghosting past a defender). If you were already logged in, no worries—you never saw it! But for those who did, we’ve sorted it. The image is back where it belongs!
v4.15.1 02/04/2025
Add Missing Competition Details!
Missing a crest or other competition details? No problem! You can now update and complete competition information directly in the app. Let’s keep everything looking sharp and official—just like your team’s kit (hopefully).
v4.15.0 02/03/2025
Scroll Like a Pro!
We’ve fixed an issue where, in some situations, you couldn’t scroll on certain screens (like checking out match lineups). A big shoutout to all the fans who flagged this—your feedback keeps us onside!
v4.14.0 01/23/2025
Goalscorers Are In!
To everyone who begged, pleaded, and maybe even slid into our DMs asking for this—you’ve been heard! The Goalscorers section is finally here!
Now you can relive the magic (or misery) of every goal scored in the matches you’ve watched. Whether it’s a last-minute screamer or a dodgy deflection, the names are there, etched into your stats forever—just like that striker who always scores against your team.
This one’s for you, the fans who made it happen. Update now and enjoy the glory!
Stay in the Loop!
Never miss a moment—subscribe to push notifications and email updates to keep up with the latest news, matches, and stats.
Faster Stats, Better Experience!
We’ve also turbocharged the stats screens, so they load quicker than a striker on a counterattack.
v4.13.0 01/05/2025
We’ve tidied up behind the scenes to keep things running smoothly. No flashy new features this time, but we’re making sure your experience stays top-notch—just like a well-drilled defence.
v4.12.0 01/03/2025
Log In to the Web - Right from the App!
We’ve launched the web version of TheFans, and now you can log in seamlessly using your mobile app.
Just head to the More Menu in the app, tap “Login to Web”, and scan the QR code on the website under “Sign in with TheFans mobile app” - easy as that!
The web version is still warming up (like players before kick-off), but you can log in, look around, and stay tuned for more features coming soon!
Update now and give it a go!
v4.11.0 12/29/2024

Update now and explore your team's history like never before!
v4.9.0 12/21/2024
Country Selection, Simplified!
Struggling to scroll endlessly through every country? We’ve added a search field, so now you can find your homeland faster than a dodgy VAR decision.
Results That Count!
Ever wondered how many results your team’s got in the app? Now we’ll show you the total—because every stat matters (even if your team’s bottom of the table).
Update now and enjoy these cracking new features.
Back of the net!
v4.8.0 12/17/2024
Bulk Import, Easy Peasy!
Got your matches saved in an Excel file or apps like Futbology?
Now you can export them, upload the file to TheFans, and watch as your games magically appear in your profile.
Say goodbye to manual input and hello to more time for the important stuff - like arguing over offside calls.
Give it a go!
v4.7.0 12/16/2024
Team Logo with Transparent Background: We've fixed the issue with adding a team logo! Now you can upload logos and keep that transparent background intact, giving your team the sharp, clean look it deserves.
