Tysm for making this app! It’s better than the other app that teaches Armenian called mango! This app ACTUALLY teaches me! The only thing I rage about this app, that even though the sentences are right, it still gets wrong because of the capital letters, that I don’t even pay attention to. Also, the way you teach how the armenian letters on keyboard are, it doesn’t really teach me, I can’t just have in look at them, or just write them all down, and their memorized. Could you teach them in a different way, please? Okay, I can’t explain what I’m talking about like this, so gotta use Duolingo as an example. So, like in Duolingo, when your learning a language that has a different writing system, They have a spot that helps you learn, and memorize the writing system, instead of showing all of the letters like how you do, they teach it just like your just learning the words. Don’t get me wrong though, the app is great! But just please teach th e letters, just like your teaching the language. This app is the only app I can learn Eastern Armenian on here, on. But, if you kinda adjust the learning, like, teaching how to write in Armenian, other than the way you do now, because the way you teach Armenian letters, and how to read and write, it doesn’t really teach anything. Please teach it, like how your teaching how to speak it.It’s just, the way your teaching the letters is hard. And, when you tell the awnser, it’s written in Armenian. It just gets harder to learn, because mainly, the correct awnser and that stuff is in Armenian. But how you teach it, you just show what they look like, and what the sounds are. That’s becoming harder to learn the alphabet, to make it memorized. For me, I can’t learn the letters that way.

The first five or so units were great. It was easy for me to remember vocabulary and grammar and the units were a nice introduction to Eastern Armenian for someone like me who knows nothing. However, once I reached “Directions and Indications,” I felt like tons of vocabulary was being thrown at me at rapid speeds at the beginning of each lesson. I was then forced to put everything together and translate long, complicated sentences with words I hadn’t yet learned. I really wish the lessons spent a little more time teaching vocabulary and giving you time to practice with new words. This could be fixed by just dividing one unit into more lessons to increase the depth of each and provide an easier transition from learning to applying for beginners like me. Additionally, I agree with many other reviews in that there should be a better way to learn the alphabet. I like that it is listed in each unit, but just as there is a different section of the app that serves as a dictionary, there could be a section where users can learn how to write the alphabet and identify each letter by sound; you can take inspiration from Duolingo’s method of teaching users how to write in Arabic, Japanese, or Chinese. Finally, and of least importance, the app often takes a while to load. It would be nice if that could be improved in the future. I hope you take all my suggestions to heart, especially since I am enchanted by this language and desperate to learn it. Best regards, A.J.M.

I’m so glad this app exists. I speak Western Armenian but am heading to Armenia in a week and this has been a super helpful tool in learning how to understand the eastern dialect. The app has one major problem that has made it unusable for me at he moment. I’ve reached the third lesson of the 18th module, Food 1, and I can’t progress because one of the questions is broken. The multiple choice question for Chicken (meat) has no correct answer. I thought I might have been wrong at first (obviously I know the word for chicken) so when it came up again I picked something else, but that was wrong too. I tried all the answers and none of them registered as correct. Because of the way the app is structured, it won’t let you continue on to the next lesson without completing the previous one 100%. This is extremely frustrating and I hope you can fix this soon. Otherwise, this is an amazing app for learning Eastern Armenian! Maybe someday there might be a Western Armenian version too???

This app is amazing and has been extremely useful for me in learning Armenian, I can chug out a couple modules in my free time every day. There are a significant amount of bugs that are somewhat annoying (some exercises have the words already in order, a few exercises aren’t actually completable Bc there are 2x needed words compared to how many are given, the spoken word isn’t always the actual word, and the app crashes after each module I complete), but the app is extremely useful inspire of these issues, and these bugs can definitely be ironed out. I’m overjoyed that the effort to make this app happened, and I really hope it keeps receiving updates. Giving it 5 stars despite the bugs due to how useful it is
