1. Better, faster and branded videos All video processing will now take place in the cloud on the story manager admin system. This means: Faster sharing with smaller video file sizes. Reduction in volume differences by normalising audio between blocks. Improved video quality Organisational branding on exported videos (logo, name and title) from the admin system. 2. Improved user experience We’ve added more improvements to the app experience so users will benefit from better performance: Background uploads so there’s no need to stay in the StoryTagger app. Cloud-based compression for faster video submissions. Faster performance on older devices. Reduction in memory issues on older devices running multiple apps. 3. What else is changing? We're removing the feature that automatically downloads videos to a user’s device. Many of you would like to manage this feature so we’re working on how to give administrators more control. Thank you for using StoryTagger! This update marks the first step in rolling out the next generation of StoryTagger. All users will need to upgrade their accounts by creating a password. This not only makes sure that the StoryTagger app continues to meet IT security requirements, but it will allow us to release additional helpful features in September 2019.

We’ve improved your profile settings in this release which means existing users need to confirm their email address and story code. What’s new New story notifications You’ll receive a notification when new stories are published. Notifications take you straight to the new video keeping you up to date. See your unpublished stories in the story feed When you submit a story for review, it immediately appears in your story feed. You can watch your own content here even if it's unpublished. Your story saved to your device Every time you submit a story a copy of the video is saved to your Photos. So, you can share it to your channels. Improved filtering We've improved the filtering on the story feed. You can now find content by topic. Improved filming countdown Our recording countdown is clearer. So, it's obvious when you need to start talking. UI and user flow improvements Minor improvements across the app for an even better user experience.
