The pastures are green and the day is warm. Shepherd Hazel Woof is grazing her sheep peacefully. What could go wrong on this bright sunny day? Little does she know, her sheep could be ambushed at any moment. Poacher Alex McCunning has been luring her sheep to traps he’s made. Fortunately for Hazel, Alex gets spotted and she can now take action. Will she be able to defend her sheep or will Alex steal them away? The fate of the sheep is up to you to decide. Take control of either of the two characters and prepare for a shepherding duel with your opponent. --- Sheeping Around is a multiplayer strategy card game about grazing and stealing sheep. The objective is simple: there's three sheep on the board, and you need to take home or steal two of the three sheep to win. As a shepherd attach graze cards to sheep to graze, and when you're done, use "Whistle" to take them home. As a thief, attach lure cards to sheep to lure them and when they're lured, use "Steal" to steal them away. But the tricky part is all the other cards that make your opponents' lives harder. You can lay traps, guard sheep, reduce graze / lure values and use special bonus cards to your advantage. Add deck-building and card collection, and you get the basic elements of a CCG. All in all, an exciting game that will make you ask your friends, “Will you sheep with me?" --- Key features: * Unique, never-seen-before gameplay mechanics in a tragicomic setting. * Quick 5-10 minute matches: Play on your commute or on the loo! * Smart multiplayer match-making with level based progression. * Challenge your friends and ask them to "sheep" with you!

Bugs fixed, enjoying the game again

Update: thank you for the response devs! Ran into a couple of game breaking bugs but the devs comment below states they have been fixed server side. I have not run across them again.Currently lvl 13: The game has simple mechanics there is an element of bluffing that adds more depth to it. I’m noticing a trend of some decks being the more obvious bath to victory and if you come across an opponent with the same deck it’s a matter of luck-of-the-draw. Seems they are planning on more characters that will hopefully add variety to the play styles.I’m interested to see how higher levels will bring more advanced play.One thing I am worried about is the potential of “broken” decks at higher levels (ie decks that are always the winning strategy regardless of how many options there are) but I’ll have to wait and see.All in all a solid game.Note to devs: could it be possible to move the discard spot away from the bonus spot? I accidentally discarded a bonus card during a match. Perhaps discard could be a smaller area not next the field of play.

Hi, sorry about your experience. This bug has been one of the 2-3 critical bugs since the game's release 4 days ago and has been hard for me to identify the root cause of. But now I'm glad to tell you that it has been fixed! No update needed on your phone. Please play a few games and do let me know if you see the issue again.There are certain powerful cards at higher levels but I have made sure they are nerfed down to maintain balance. You cannot play more than 3 bonus cards per turn or have more than 6 bonus cards of a type in your deck. There are some more cards at much higher levels (30+) that may still need some nerfing, and I will add that eventually in future updates. But regardless, you could have many kinds of offensive, defensive and balanced decks, and there is no one deck that will always win. It depends on what deck the opponent has.I wish Apple gave us a better option to do regional sales. The sale was primarily for Eastern part of the world where it was more than 90% off.

I can't think of a COOL nickname
I echo all the positive reviews of this fun game with unique gameplay mechanics. The card unlock/building scale seems fair as is the level-based match-making.The frustrating issue is the frequent loss in progress. As others have commented, and as the developer has acknowledged, there is a likelihood of progress (level, cards, and/or coins) being lost over the course of playing. I’ve played the latest updated version for the last two days and have had progress lost to the point of resetting my profile three times—in WiFi and cellular networks. Fortunately I haven’t spent any IAPs nor was I too far along (up to level 7). From other reviews, it appears the developer is actively trying to resolve the issue, but until then, I’ll need to hold off on investing any more time on this FUN game... so please find a fix!

Great game really! I love the concept and how it’s so unique, but I have experienced ALOT of glitches. Sometimes I try to match with someone and it says they unmatched me over and over again. Then I have to switch to the other character and back and restart the search. It’s really annoying so if you are reading, please fix this. Edit: Ok I’ve noticed another glitch/bug. When I am Hazel Woof or Alex McCunning, I try to become the other character and I press play. It says I’m the character I chose but then when I'm actually playing I’m the other character. 😐 It’s super annoying, but other than that the game has a great future ahead of it.

Thank you for the suggestion, it is very appropriate and I have had similar feedback from others too. I also noticed that a lot of newer players at initial levels do not understand the rules very well and therefore take a long time to play their moves, unmatch you before the game even begins and also quit the game in the middle. Later level players on the other hand get a hang of the cards and play their moves pretty quickly. I have implemented the suggestion and you will always match with AI now in the beginning. Only once you have played a certain number of games, you will be able to match against real players. No update needed on your device.Also the glitch where you don't get the character you originally selected has been fixed.

Great game really! I love the concept and how it’s so unique, but I have experienced ALOT of glitches. Sometimes I try to match with someone and it says they unmatched me over and over again. Then I have to switch to the other character and back and restart the search. It’s really annoying so if you are reading, please fix this. Edit: Ok I’ve noticed another glitch/bug. Thank you for the suggestion, it is very appropriate and I have had similar feedback from others too. Game guy gibbie
I grew frustrated after losing to computer a couple times. So I took the developers advice and tried tweaking my deck! Took out some cards and added other. Now I am level 17 and winning more now! 😁 One card I had to get the understanding of was the bad luck card. It stops the opponent from taking the sheep after it has been lured/grazed completely. This has help me win more close games now. Also to, like most card games ,my opponent may get a better hand than mine at times. But with adjusting my deck, I can strategize better and win more. Thanks for responding Mr Developer guy!

The AI does not cheat, I can assure you. The AI learns by behaviours of real players and cannot see your deck or hand. Also, using many Sprint cards has a disadvantage that you are left with very few cards in your hand and you end up top-decking if you overuse them. So certainly someone who has more Sprint cards wont win. Also there is a limit of 3 bonus cards per turn and a hard limit of 6 bonus cards per type that you can have in a deck. So nobody can have more than 6 sprint cards. Also, Sprint card unlocks for purchase at Lv. 13, so before that all decks have the same number of Sprint cards (4). It can be possible that opponent may have had more sprint cards in its initial moves, and yours might have been at the bottom of your deck. After Lv. 10, more kinds of bonus cards will unlock that you can use to have overall better strategy. Of course since the decks are shuffled, there is luck involved too.I can understand some games can be frustrating when you lose, but they give you a reason to go back to your deck and think of a different strategy to use. More strategies will open up with higher levels.

Sheeping Around 1.6 refreshes the game for iOS 26 and makes multiplayer smoother all around, with better matchmaking, stronger online play, and animations that feel better.
