If you at the end you have not been eliminated and you hold more ground it would make sense that that person would win several times I’ve made it to hold the ground up to my opponents fortress and I lose every time, all it does is say is defeat. This is better than most of these games that skill is less important then leveling up and the game looks great, a little small but great. The card layout is odd and takes a little time to get used to but I truly like this game and I hope I can get past the irritating stage of discovery and orientation. I assume I’m not seeing something obvious about how you win and lose games when both armies are standing at the end. Part of these games is learning those nuances that separates playable games and replay able games.

This has been hands down the greatest approach to providing a fun, simple, yet sophisticatingly strategic game for IOS. I have had a lot of fun mixing and matching troop configurations to be competitive at each level. However, the latest upgrade introduced the Rocket Launching Vehicle. Worst Over-Powered card in the game. Everyone uses it with a spam attacks strategy because it is clearly dominating and with its extended range and cheap cost, it’s nearly impossible to defend against. This card has taken the creative fun strategy out of the game. Prior to its release, you weren’t sure what troops you would be going up against. Now, it’s carry only the cards that will defend against the Rocket Launching vehicle. First off, they are way to cheap for the amount of offensive power it brings to the battlefield. Second, it’s range is ridiculous. Either make the card more expensive, or lower it’s health dramatically! This card has seriously impacted the creativeness and unpredictability to each battle! With all this being said, I stand behind my words and refuse to use this card no matter how hard I get beaten back. Let’s just hope it doesn’t take my motivation, or I will hang my dog tags and retire. This was a 5 star game, and will remain a 4 star until this card is modified.

I played siege for a while and I really liked it. It’s mix of gameplay and in game purchases seemed balanced to me. You can win matches by playing smart. In siege ww2 that’s not the case. Most of my matches ended in draws and didn’t pass the second bunker. I do win some matches and I win more than I lose but that’s a huge problem. The game relies on you getting victory chests and upgrading them to get the best loot. When you win and you just get one bunker each time and you need 6 bunkers per level, it can get frustrating. So it adds a grind that nudges you into purchasing the daily deals in order to upgrade your force. With gameplay the units are well balanced but the powers are not. The power cards in the game are grossly overpowered. I believe it’s designed like that so players will get draws or one bunker victories. This makes victory chests longer to upgrade. Also they added houses that take 4 infantry to fill. This makes advancing your force up the map take longer. This could be an issue if let’s say you opponent drops a fire bomb and kills your reinforcements right when you needed them to take out the second bunker. Now your front line troops are dead and you have to fall back and spend points to use power cards. This increased dependence on power cards takes away from actually purchasing units. Another annoyance is bunker self healing. It just prolongs the game and makes it almost impossible to get the 3 bunker victory without paying for it. This game is a cash grab. So don’t be fooled into buying in app purchases for fake currency or troops. It’s not worth it because you will just get matched up against someone that spent as much as you did and then bam you back to the draw victory.

You’re not meant to win every match. It’s PvP. So it takes strategy and hopefully you have the right cards. I’ve been having fun with it, you don’t have to spend money to advance. Sure, you could, but honestly the match making needs work. You can spend money to try to level up a bit and you think you’re gonna get a little ahead or at least have an easier time for a bit. But all it does it match you up with someone that 100% just spent $100+ to level up the strongest tank in the game. I have pretty high level tanks and other units, but it’ll match me with someone who clears me with literally 1 of the best tank in the game. It’s kinda ridiculous. It seems the match making is only based on what level you are, not what level cards you have, which that’s where it falls short. There’s just no way I should be getting matched up with someone who is clearing me with one singular tank. The match making needs to be changed for sure.
