- VPN Lumos offers a monthly subscription plan at $11.99/mo with a 3-day free trial period.
- Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 - hours before the end of the current period.
- payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period.
- No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period.
- Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

Have been using this for almost a year now, thought I’d give it a proper go before reviewing. Really nice appearance - layout/colours etc, options are easy to find. Works great, links up to any country quickly and efficiently, no problems whatsoever.

I was onboard with this VPN at first because it did actually allow me to do some things other VPNs don’t. Like streaming video. That’s until I looked at My subscription plan which was outrageous. $10 a week ???!!! So I went to App Store and did more thorough on the App and found out this VPN actually TRACKS ME ACROSS APPS AND WEBSITES !!! So what exactly is the point of a Virtual PRIVATE Network if that network is tracking my internet AND app activity. Deal Breaker for a “VPN” to actually TRACK ME !!!Does the developer actually understand the PURPOSE of a VPN is to be NOT TRACKED !!!By ANYONE!!! There’s almost nothing this developer can do or say to bring me back onboard. Two stars bc the VPN actually worked (however im thinking that it has more to do with this Apps data collection and tracking behavior). I actually got this app from a Firefox website experience bc the site wouldn’t let me in until I downloaded this app. THATS ANOTHER RED FLAG DEVELOPER !!!Happy to find out and be done with this deep state level nonsense. I was REALLY debating the two stars, wanting to give only one (THATs how serious it is when a VPN actually tracks you and then actually ADMITS IT !!!). But I went Two bc of the experience. Now I never install a VPN without actually checking on whether it TRACKS ME !!! F’ing SERIOUS ??? I never checked whether VPN apps tracked my internet activity bc, well, it just sounds so RIDICULOUS. FOR A VPNTOTRACKME!!!

No Free Trial But Pay First

I downloaded the app and I didn’t even get to try it. As soon as I tried to turn it on it said 3 day free trial then 9.99 a week. Who has 9.99 to spend a week not me. I downloaded this app from the top 100 FREE IPADS APPS. How is me having to pay 9.99 free? Not only was it just a 3 day free trial but there was also a timer for how long I’m active until my free trial is up. I’m not seeing how this app is anywhere near free. App devs you screwed up with saying it was free when it really wasn’t . That’s just shady business right there.

Feels like I’ve been Scammed

I downloaded this app because it was listed as an offer through True Finance where I was supposed to receive reward points after signing up. I paid the $9.99 subscription but never received the promised reward.When I contacted True Finance, they told me the issue was on VPN Lumos’s end. I then tried to contact VPN Lumos directly, but the support email address appears to be invalid (“address not found”) and they have not responded to messages sent through the app.Right now I’ve paid for a subscription tied to a promotion that was never honored, and there seems to be no working way to contact the company for support or a refund. This experience feels very misleading and frustrating.Until the company provides proper support and resolves issues like this, I would be very cautious about downloading or paying for this app.
