It’s not clear if any other cameras will work with the app and since I started using it I’ve never seen any different cameras for sale on the apps store section when you select customer service it opens a blank page think i have been ripped off the cloud backup is borderline maddening the detection is meh ok I guess pretty useless with the way it uploads the video to the cloud it’s consistently only saving uploading a fraction of whatever is detected and randomly it’s nothing like useful as you would expect like the first events and the last events somethings detected id research a bit more there is to much wrong and in useful to justify the cost you pay with such a non exaistent selection of compatible devices unless they figure out how to cloud using their phone as a camera option id avoid this altogether I’m sticking around for the remainder of my year subscription with a hope I can use it on the phone to camera option since the camera I got the subscription for isn’t functioning any longer

First - Ignore any review more than a few months old. The old reviews are based on a business model that no longer exists. In fact the Apple default of “most helpful” is pointless, always manually change it to “most recent” I highly recommend that you don’t buy any camera that uses this as its app. It started out with free 6 second clips, then they ended free clips and want you to pay for cloud access. I’m fine with that but at $20 - $25 a month with limited features it’s way over priced. So if I don’t want the cloud services leave me alone and let me watch my live feed in peace. Nope instead I get bombarded with ads before and during the feed. The ads are 30 seconds long if you can’t find the little x to close them. In the middle of checking something an ad pops up. Just think, middle of the night, somethings going on outside and you check your camera, but first you get a 30 second ad then after the camera feed starts, 15 seconds later another ad pops up. I don’t know why they bother because I would never buy anything from a company that runs ads on this type of app. The bottom line is if you need a camera for security purposes then this isn’t the app you want associated with the camera, a cheaper camera with this app isn’t worth it. Now if like to watch more ads than what you see in a “free” game app then this is what you’ll want. I’ve replaced most of the camera’s I had that use this app, 2 more to go.

I’m here trying to write a review I get to the end. I don’t know what they did but everything disappeared. So now I’m trying to write my review again and this is the second review because I don’t know what they did with my first review. Anyways,DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THEIR CAMERA/APP‼️‼️‼️ when I first got this camera. I tested it in my house with a Sim card. It seem great. I put it on my porch. I thought it was fine, but it doesn’t record anything but the ceiling of my porch my concrete porch the sidewalk or my flowers swinging in the wind. When it comes to a person walking by my house or me standing on my porch for a long period of if it works. It does not pick up activity that you want to see you don’t get the videos you get a lot of pop-up saying there is activity but nothing you wanna see. Then all of a sudden the app tells you to do this do that to improve things which don’t work I thought I’d buy a subscription which also did not work and made things worse. I canceled the subscription as for my money and they still haven’t returned my money. It’s been over a month. I will be dispute it with my bank. I wonder how many people they do this too. And then today if I go to open my app to view my camera, I can’t use it because they put ads and games and you cannot act out of them. So they make the camera useless so you can’t use it at all. Don’t waste your money on them. I’m going to report them to the business BBB also in my Secretary of State.

After multiple car break-ins our neighborhood we installed the pan cam outside our garage. WhileIt has good quality images - there are major issues with the app. I get regular alerts for bugs flying around or shadows from the sun but not people in our driveway trying to break into cars. One morning a neighbor’s car alarm went off so I happened to glance at the clock. Then another neighbor let us know their car had been broken into. I had no alerts (other than bugs) so I checked the playback around the time I heard the car alarm (had I not known the approx time I would have likely never found the footage due to no alert and the lack of functionality in the app). Sure enough we had people in our driveway checking several of our cars...but no alerts even though at times the person was dead center in the image and not trying to hide. My spouse also leaves the house early each morning and maybe 10% of the time the camera gives me an alert from his movement including a car pulling out of our driveway. Another negative is that to review any playback there is NO fast forward or pause functionality. So if you want a good camera and app just to check in on live feed and aren’t worried about alerts - this will do the job. Otherwise I wouldn’t recommend.
