more Using this with the BLK360, it’s certainly better than Recap. Simultaneous scan and download is really a time saver. However, connectivity is sometimes spotty even at close proximity (and other times great). Not having transfer via USB is a major inconvenience.

I’m guessing I got the latest update today. The app worked this morning but now it’s broken. App screen pops up for a split second and then completely disappears, seems to be crashing even before it’s fully loaded. Unfortunately I’m scheduled to do a scan tomorrow. This kind of unreliability is just unacceptable.

The app works well with the BLK G2, but the data fills up my iPad and there is no way to delete the data without deleting the app and reinstalling. I gather a lot of info for work but spend 20% of my time trying to clean the iPad storage out. I can only get three jobs on my iPad mini before I need to clean it. I’ve tried deleting the jobs on the app, deleting data on the BLK, deleting data one swipe by one swipe in the Cyclone app in the iPad storage in the General settings. Could the developers take a look at this and see if we can get some work around that makes this a better tool?

Out today scan three scans on Hi-Rez seem to connect OK to the BLK and also download the data so it looks like they fixed some bug was it wasn’t connecting and dropping. I was triggering everything from the app though the last time I used it, I could not download the data from the BLK G1 onto the app if I triggered it by the push button.I’ll try that again on this version and see if it’s still doing the same thing it did before

3D GeoTags :
Version 6.0.3 brings back the capability to use Apple LiDAR data for creating 3D tags, enabling users to fill gaps in data from existing setups. The LiDAR data is registered to the reference setup and visualised in real time. Gap-filling data collected with Cyclone FIELD 360 can be seamlessly imported into Cyclone or Cyclone REGISTER 360 version 2022.1 or newer.

The option has been added in the settings menu to control scan visibility. This is a two-step configuration process:
1. Select a Dynamic Visibility Mode:
- Follow Selected
- Follow Latest
2. Choose the number of scans to display (3, 5 or 7)
Linking from the Data Browser :
Users can now initiate linking directly from the job data browser. This option is accessible via the three-dot menu for each scan. After selecting the desired first scan, the data browser will automatically collapse, allowing users to select the second setup from the Map View to start the alignment process.
Additionally, the scan data structure within the Data Browser has been improved. Unlinked setups are now always displayed at the top of the list, and sub-categories (e.g., linked and unlinked) are collapsible for better organization.

License Information: License type and expiration details are now available to the user in the app .
Optimize button: The ”Optimize” button is now highlighted in red if the link has not been optimized.
The new version also contains various bug fixes and stability improvements for all supported scanners.

The all-new BLK360 is now also supported in Cyclone FIELD 360 version 4.0. It allows the user to control the imaging laser scanner, immediately preview the captured data for on-site feedback, quality assurance and quality control, and pre-registration directly in the field. Customers of the all-new BLK360 will benefit from all features within Cyclone FIELD 360, including:
- Scanner remote control
- Preview captured data in 360 or 3D view
- Creating links and bundles and inspecting registration results in 3D
- Attaching measurements and tags to the point cloud
- Creating .dxf or .ifc floorplans using the Quick Plan add-on
- Share data to Leica TruView Cloud or to HxDR

The new version 4.0 also includes numerous features that are not only available for the all-new BLK360 but for all supported scanners:
- Cyclone FIELD 360 now supports data capture with Apple Lidar. Apple iPhones and iPads equipped with a Lidar sensor can be used to collect scans, and users benefit from all features within Cyclone FIELD 360. Individual Lidar scans can be linked using Cyclone FIELDs PreAlign and Optimise algorithms. Tags and measurements can be added, and registered Lidar point clouds can be used with the optional Quick Plan add-on.
