Love the app! I tried other apps for different instruments and have been disappointed. This one works amazingly well. One recommending if possible: Any chance of getting more effects in the future? For example, distortion would be great (I prefer the fuzz type of distortion myself. Maybe different types?). Thanks for the great work?

Lumbeat is just fantastically clever and really thinking of the user in the way they conceptualize and execute feature sets. 5 stars for whatever Lumbeat touches, they are fantastic apps and ought to be converted to desktop and even into a full suite like a mini DAW or something, I think the dev really thinks deeply about how to make something that gives users all the control they could want.That makes any complaint a moot point IMO, but here’s what I wish was better:No MIDI export option! Maybe because some lines are absolute copies of copyrights tunes? Would just like to be able to use this as a production tool sometimes. MIDI out on drummers = absolute bliss.Tones are cheesy. MIDI out is possible so solves that problem but it would be nice to get higher quality tones in house across all Lumbeat apps. Most of the bass tones in here sound like they were sampled from children’s keyboards. No offense to Luis, but with the high quality across the feature list, tones seems a weird spot to make sacrifices. Maybe big samples are heavier on live performance processing?Design. Lot of information jumbled into intense menu sets. They are useable. But not elegant. Overwhelming to navigate and I think that’s because the info is presented trying to provide as much as possible all at once. I’d rather get decisions fed to me in a less spaceship console kind of manner, esp when using live I don’t need so much at hand.All that aside I LOVE the updates lately and hope more are coming, and really am dying for the classic country Americana singer songwriter drummer! That’s such an obvious missing piece in my book and could be built out of the apps you already have with more focus on patterns and tones for that world.

iBassist is now exactly what I was hoping for. The issues I previously experienced have been fixed, and now AUV3 support! I’m hoping that the rest of the drummer suit gets the same treatment. The MIDI features in iBassist make it extremely easy to work out riffs with other synth apps, making AUM jamming a lot more fun. The only issues I experienced so far is that sometimes iBassist sounds lag a bit after tweaking settings, but thats easily fixed after stopping and restarting. Otherwise, well worth the purchase!

Fantastic Idea ..but...there seems to be a slight lag between the Bass Sound and the Drums that are linked.(I own 4 of your Drum Apps, and they all lag a little behind.) I didn’t notice this at first. Other than that, yes it does Crash some and Freaks Out when using AUM sometimes. Works great otherwise. But, once you notice the Lag you can’t forget that it’s there. Please Fix This and you will have yourself something really Groundbreaking.
• Export your bass line or a whole Song as audio (WAV), alone or together with the MIDI file, in a folder named after it
• Picking a bass line or a progression while playing now waits for the next bar (adjustable in Settings)
• Live MIDI In: choose what the bass does when you lift your hand, keep playing, stop at once, or stop at the end of the beat. Fill to End now works with it and ends on the last chord
• New MIDI controls: Start, Stop, Fill Start, Fill Stop, FILL TO END LENGTH and, in the plug-in, PLAY LOCK ON / OFF
• MIDI Map renamed and grouped like in the other Lumbeat apps, keeping your assignments. Controls respond only on their own channel, and CC buttons act on press only
• Line Editor: BACK TO ORIGINAL always restores the line you started from, and MODERATE and MID lengths give the same result every time (use the dice for random ones)
• Song mode: PADS 1-8 and RANDOM are ignored while a Song plays
• Plug-in in a DAW: follows the cycle (loop), stays in time when you move the playhead, rewind or bounce from any bar, and a Song started from the host plays to the end
• Plug-in, Song mode: new SONG MODE: PLAY FROM setting, from the start of the Song or from the DAW's position
• Settings are now kept between launches
