Plavo oko je aplikacija namijenjena sustavnom bilježenju podataka o pojavama morskih organizmima i onecišcenju mora s ciljem povecanja znanja o moru i njegovoj ucinkovitoj zaštiti.
Svatko tko boravi u prirodi, na kopnu ili na, i u moru, dok šece, planinari, roni, jedri ili pliva može dojaviti opažanje neobicnog dogadaja koji ugrožava trenutno stanje okoliša. Prilikom susreta s nepoznatom, zanimljivom ili potencijalno opasnom vrstom možete doznati što ste vidjeli, da li je vrsta biljke ili životinje zašticena, rijetka ili opasna.
Vašom prijavom na aplikaciju Plavo oko i popunjavanjem podataka, dobit cete u najkracem roku informaciju o vašem opažanju u prirodi, neobicnom dogadanju ili snimljenoj vrsti uz morsku obalu, u ili na površini mora. Istovremeno, zabilježenim podacima strucnjaci dobivaju korisne podatke koji im služe u daljnjim istraživanjima i povratnim podacima o snimljenoj vrsti ispravno informiraju javnost.
Dostavljanjem fotografija i podataka gradani aktivno sudjeluju i pomažu u znanstvenim istraživanjima (Citizen Science), cime se postiže bolji pregled kretanja odredenog organizma i ucinkovitije poduzimanje mjera u zaštiti Jadranskog mora
Svrha korištenja aplikacije je uzajamna brza informacija i obrazovanje gradana kao i ucinkovito djelovanje odgovornih službi i strucnjaka u rješavanju mogucih problema u zaštiti Jadranskog mora. Uzajamnim prijenosom informacija stvara se potpunija slika o stanju bioraznolikosti i kretanjima mogucih opasnih vrsta.

Blue eye is an application designed to systematically record data on marine organisms and sea pollution with the aim of increasing knowledge of the sea and its effective protection.
Everyone who spends time in nature, on land or at the sea, walking, hiking, diving, sailing, or swimming, can signal an unusual event that endangers the current state of the environment. When encountering an unknown, interesting or potentially dangerous species, you can find out what they are, whether a plant or animal is protected, rare or dangerous.
By logging in to the Blue Eye application and filling in your data, you will receive, as soon as possible, information about your observation of nature, an unusual event, or recorded species on the seashore, in or on the surface of the sea. At the same time, with the data recorded, experts get useful information that serves them in further research and in properly informing the public on the recorded species.
By delivering photos and information, a person can actively participate and assist in scientific research (Citizen Science) thus achieving a better insight in the movement of a given organism and more effective measures for the protection of the Adriatic Sea.
The purpose of the application is mutual informing and education of the public, as well as the effective operation of experts and services in charge in solving possible problems related to the protection of the Adriatic Sea. Mutual information transmission creates a more complete picture of the state of biodiversity and the movements of possible dangerous species.
