Meet & Right is an app built to make Orthodox Christian dating a little less weird! Created for the Orthodox community and with our cultures in mind, to help our community connect anytime, anywhere.
Since our launch in 2018, our diverse, pan-orthodox community has exchanged over 1.2 million messages and made over 60,000 matches. Numerous couples have been married through Christ, which is exactly why we do what we do!
You won’t find unlimited swipes on Meet & Right, and there’s a good reason for that! We want every profile review to be as meaningful as possible. So, take your time on your bio to give your potential matches an opportunity to really get to know you. Once you match with someone, you'll be able to message each other within the app.
With Meet & Right Premium, you’ll be able to see more profiles each day, get notified when somebody likes your profile, and have access to special settings. Each package is free to try for a week.
Meet & Right does not tolerate harassment of any kind and our team works diligently to review profiles that have been reported for behaviors that cross the line. For more information, please see our code of conduct below.
Code of Conduct

Having been a part of the app in its earliest version and then since they changed the pay structure: the app isn’t worth the cost for what you get. While I appreciate that someone is striving to create a platform for Orthodox Christians to date; this app isn’t it. A) They don’t even include all the main Orthodox Jurisdictions within the US, it’s not a huge issue (for me), but it’s a poignant detail clearly missed which seems odd assuming a fellow Orthodox Christian made the app.B) I understand that it does cost money to maintain apps, however I feel like you’d actually make more money if the cost was lower and you could see more people. You could even do it in tiers: $5= 10 people, $10=15, etcWhile appreciate you’re trying to reduce the number of people we swipe on because mentally too many swipes takes dating into a weird place; $18+ dollars a month for limits feels steep. Also even with paying, our ability to filter is still limited. I kept re-seeing people I’d say no to repeatedly. C) because of the structure/limitations this app doesn’t feel helpful, it feels like someone taking advantage of a population whose earnestly struggling to find a spouse. Marriage is a sacrament & shouldn’t be used as an opportunity to profit off of other people’s loneliness. You can charge of course, be maybe rethink the cost vs benefit of what you’re actually offering. I just expected better from an Orthodox Christian

Thank you for taking the time; this is the kind of review that changes decisions. Meet & Right is under new management as of this month. The missing jurisdictions are in now. The plans are being reworked so you choose how much you see, closer to the tiers you describe, and the setting that stops you re-seeing people you passed on is there. And you're right that marriage is a sacrament and this should never feel like profiting from loneliness; that's the standard I'm holding the rebuilt app to when it arrives in November. Meh
CopticWarrior22
I think a lot of people’s gripe with this app is the degradation of the free version. I get that the developers are ultimately running a business and that’s fine. The biggest issue that I have is the constant notifications telling you that someone liked your profile and they’re going to be in your next stack. Guess what? They aren’t in your next stack and the only way to see them is to have a paid account. I don’t have a problem with the devs making a buck, just don’t annoy me with constant notifications that end up being meaningless. Either include them in the stack or don’t tell me they’ll be there when they aren’t. Now I have to choose between turning off notifications or dealing with false alarms. Additionally, if you’re over 30, you’re going to get the “leftovers.” Not the app’s fault, but if you’re expecting to meet Queen Nefertiti or King Solomon on here, it’s not happening. Of course, YMMV.

You put your finger on something real: a notification that promises someone in your next stack and then doesn't deliver is worse than no notification at all. Meet & Right is under new management as of this month. Likes don't expire anymore, and the rebuilt app coming in November puts the people who liked you first, so that notice will finally be true. Write me at hello@meetandright.com any time and I'll look after you.John, Meet & Right
Disappointing
EastBound85
The layout is certainly better than Orthodox and Single. I did the free trial and decided not to purchase at the end of the trial. On the first day, I got four likes. That was a nice surprise considering these looked like healthy, well groomed men, which is a big difference from the usual bottom of the barrel experience on other apps. First issue. I signed up at night so my stack drops at night, which is super annoying. I’d rather have it drop around 8am. Second issue. I get anywhere between 3-8 profiles a day in my stack. Is that because your app still doesn’t have many users? I certainly know it’s not because those are my matches considering ANY Orthodox man is a match except perhaps certain sects that are out of communion, which was 2 or 3 groups. It’s not worth paying for with so few people to see every day. Third issue. I sent a message to one man, and I don’t even know if he saw it, which means I’m standing by wondering if he still might be interested or whether he passed. Usually there are checks in the corner. One for “delivered.” Two for “read.” I don’t like guessing games. It feels crummy putting something out there and never knowing if a guy had just decided not to respond. It’s easier to move passed if I can see it’s been a day or two since he read the message. So no thanks for now. I’ll wait until the app user population grows. It’s just not worth it right now. I’d be happy to reconsider my rating when I feel those issues are resolved. After all, it’s just for Orthodox Christians, which is a huge plus.

Thank you for a review this thoughtful; you described three real problems and you were right about each. Meet & Right is under new management as of this month. The daily stack is being reworked in the rebuilt app coming in November, read receipts are on the list right after it, and more people join every week. You said you'd reconsider when those were resolved, and I'd be glad to show you. Write me at hello@meetandright.com and I'll take care of you myself.John, Meet & Right
Great Idea - Poorly Executed
Half Pack
This app is a great idea, but boy does it have problems. Not sure if it’s been abandoned by the devs or not. As a man, I get 2 swipes a day if I’m lucky (also with no filters applied). Not sure if that’s just from the lack of women on the app, or if they’re really trying to milk a subscription. But even when you pay for premium (as I did) you still don’t get many additional swipes. So the premium service is not worth it at all. Except you’ll get the see the faces of those that like you. Another function of the app that needs fixed, is it seems that your likes expire. So if someone likes your profile, and you don’t have premium you have to wait for their profile to pop up on 1 of your 2 swipes a day… and if that doesn’t happen soon enough, the likes disappear, so you miss out on your chance to connect with someone. Just another hurdle/frustration in the dating life of a single orthodox man. Were cooked bros.
Developer Response
Thank you for writing this out; it's one of the clearest reviews we've had. Meet & Right is under new management as of this month. You were right on both counts. Likes no longer expire: in the current version the people who liked you stay in your Likes while they're active. Two a day is still the free plan today, and the rebuilt app arriving in November changes how the daily stack works. Not abandoned anymore. Email hello@meetandright.com and I'll take care of you myself.John, Meet & Right
Subscription screen: the free week now shows only on the plans that include it.
