Suspects: Mobile Detective 17+

I’ve been wanting an app like this where you get to be the detective! This was great! Thank you! Some things that would make it better would be maybe a little more that could make us feel like we’re actually solving the case with more clues that can be solved. It also would be neat to have more access to things that would help solve the case, like autopsy reports, police reports, etc. There were some boring episodes and sometimes it felt like we weren’t learning anything, like some episodes were just filler. Also the websites didn’t work for news articles and the like, which was a big bummer! Wish those worked and that there were more things like that! The real Instagram for her was an awesome touch! Would have been cool if all her friends had one we could check too! This is a great base for a game! I have so many ideas! With some tweaks I think this could be huge!

Okay, so as someone who loves thrillers and mysteries, I write stories, and I wanted to find a fun little mystery game to inspire a book and pass time. This game is really interactive and cool, and it’s so cool how it has voice acting and actual actors to play roles. It feels so REAL. The only annoying thing is sometimes you will waste coins or a key to unlock a photo or something when it really isn’t important at all. Other than that, this game is amazing! Please continue to improve it! (Also, I recommend either using a notes app or writing info down bc there is a LOT to remember. I personally use the Notes app.)

EDIT: Okay, a lot of the reviews say it takes too long for messages. THAT IS THE POINT. It is a real-time type game where you are supposed to actually experience it. It’s not to keep you entertained at all times, it’s a mystery game that takes patience. So if you aren’t patient, JUST DON’T PLAY IT. Don’t complain and write bad reviews.

Years ago I played Last seen online when it was a stand alone game. The experience I had with that version of the story was great. The story felt intriguing, you were drawn in, and it felt very real. I would say the game had a real emotional impact on me. It felt as if you were actually reading someones messages and solving a crime. The version that is in this app misses the mark. It lacks the personal connection and intrigue due to the way it is set up. It is glitchy. The videos and pictures don’t load. The way messages come in changed. It doesn’t feel like you have Amys phone just feels like an app. This is also exasperated by the use of keys and coins, makes it feel way less real. URND you had a great game but you butchered the experience. I understand you want to make money by offering the use of coins and keys but in my opinion, this version of the story was poorly executed. The coin/key system was also poorly implemented. Hopefully you make some changes to bring back the feelings of connectedness and intrigue the story once had.
