This piano class is really fun but best of all the format is totally user friendly it may seem a little elementary at first but soon after I started I was playing my favorite George Michaels song careless whispers.’ I fell off for a while became a dad again and had a sports injury but being consistent is key u go as fast or as slow as u want but be consistent and u too will be playing ur favorite songs on the piano and guys I can’t tell what it did to my fiance when she came home and I had dinner ready and I played our favorite song on the piano she cry’s very time I mention it. During our relaxing time when we get away from it all it always starts with me playing the piano. My doctor even told me that I seemed more upbeat than usually and it all started with me this class and a piano.’ Playing the piano I can get away from it all the rigorous work week and renew myself through meditation as I play the songs that bring me to a good place in my head my soul my inner being and the woman who I live my life for. I gotta stop cause I could go on forever this app has changed my life get this app you won’t be disappointed

I think this is an overall amazing app. Within minutes I already knew the notes C,D,E,F and G. I was having a ton of fun (I had been playing for about 10 minutes!) when a screen pops up that says, “free practice time is over.” And that to keep practicing, I had to either pay money, or wait 10 hours! Okay, I am perfectly fine with this, as long as you give me at least an hour, but I only get 10 minutes! This is a big problem! Fix this, please!!!!!! I do have a list of things I like about the app: 1. It can connect to my piano, so I can actually learn the notes and play them on my piano as I learn. This definitely helps me. 2. The app makes it fun and easy to learn how to play. I don’t know how, but they make it FUN. 3. There is a songbook, so I can play my favorite songs whenever I want. Summary: Overall this is a very good app and I totally recommend it other than my one problem about not being able to practice for too long, this app is great. I totally recommend it to anyone trying to learn how to play the piano! We do offer a free daily practice time, so you may try it out before deciding to subscribe for a premium account with unlimited practice time. You can also purchase a subscription with a free trial. This way you can experience the app as a Premium user for the trial period. Please notice though, that you will be charged at the end of the trial period, unless you cancel before.We still strongly consider adding more free practice time to allow a wider impression of our app before needing to decide regarding our payment options.
Good but...

I’ve only been using this a little over a week, and am learning piano for the first time, but have played other instruments as a child so the theory isn’t completely new, HOWEVER, I am almost done with the first level (12 or so lessons) and the practice songs in the songbook are a bit frustrating. They teach you a four-count and the symbol for a one beat pause, but a lot of the songs have half-beats and what I assume are half-beat pause symbols, and you just have to figure out how to count that while still learning the notes and hand placement and it is really becoming frustrating. I am having a hard time counting some beats bc they are like 2.5 or 3.5 but it’s hard to tell from the way it’s displayed and there’s no one to ask. I don’t understand why they would throw all that at us without instructing us first.Other than that I’ve enjoyed the app, and like that you can use a keyboard in the app before laying out several hundred for a decent keyboard, but you can really only go so far with the app keyboard (forget two hands!). The developer also seems open to feedback and implements the suggestions, which is good.

The lack of note recognition issue by the app is a real problem and discouraging to a learner. Another very important problem is that the app should allow in app purchases for the sheet music. It is difficult for a beginner or learner to follow the notes as they speed across the screen. Yes, there is the practice mode, but that still does not give you the opportunity to study the music and see the repetition of notes, etc. It also does not allow you to stop without having to start all over again. It’s very difficult and frustrating when you can’t keep up even at 50% speed. You should provide a low-cost purchase of sheet music. If you have the sheet music, you can see the patterns that you miss when the music just moves past you. Please consider providing sheet music. Also, the training sessions should discuss finger movements and shifting positions more. Otherwise the app has been a very good alternative for home study. I have researched all the apps I could find and none provide sheet music, so this would be an important method of distinguishing your product. I assume there may be copyright issues, but you can already purchase or download different versions of the pieces on-line. They have to be exact to work with the app though.
