Maribor se vsako leto tradicionalno prelevi v gledališko središče nacionalnih in mednarodnih razsežnosti. Mesto deset dni živi in diha s Festivalom Borštnikovo srečanje, ki je skozi desetletja postal ena od njegovih osrednjih kulturnih znamenitosti.
