Managing inventory on your own? Start with just your phone. Tana keeps it simple, grows with you, and connects to your AI tools.
Tana is a fresh approach to inventory management, designed to be as simple as possible.
Getting started is always the hard part. Start small, then manage hundreds or tens of thousands of items from your phone as you get comfortable. Tana keeps everyday tasks quick and smooth.
Your data syncs to the cloud. When managing everything alone gets too much, invite others and share the work.

WHY PEOPLE CHOOSE TANA
Tana has been available since 2018. From the beginning, 99% of users have started managing inventory on their own. Whether at home or in an organization with hundreds of people, it's often one dedicated person keeping track of supplies and counting stock.
Tana's simple controls let that person get started right where the work happens. It isn't a system a sales team pushes on management and staff are told to use. It's an app you can choose for yourself when you need it.
WHERE TANA BEGAN
Tana was built to solve a university lab's everyday problems: 50 students across three rooms, using thousands of chemicals and shelves full of reagents around the clock. Some reagents took a week to arrive if they ran out. Spreadsheets couldn't keep up, so we built something that could.
That lab still guides every feature. If it wouldn't help in a busy lab at 2 a.m., we don't ship it.

SECURITY
Your data is stored in a managed cloud database with three layers of backup, and all communications use modern encryption. Your team's inventory is important business data. We treat it that way.
App should auto alphabetize the items as they’re entered, but it doesn’t. For this reason alone I will no longer be using the app.
Developer Response
Hi, thank you for using Tana! The alphabetical sort feature will be available in future update. Thank you again for your feedback!
You can now search and sort the list of storages shown when you select an item.
Apple Watch is now supported. Receive stock alerts, add items and count stock.
